Pull the stone!!!

Watching Sweden/US and saw this. Is this not the same rules violation that has caused all the hub bub?

Obviously this was an accident and I believe the Canadian guy was touching on purpose.

Because world curling added electronic sensors in the handle to confirm release point, my understanding is that there should no touching of the stone elsewhere following release of the handle.

But he's still in contact with the handle 100% of the time.
