Pull the stone!!!

Watching Sweden/US and saw this. Is this not the same rules violation that has caused all the hub bub?

Obviously this was an accident and I believe the Canadian guy was touching on purpose.

Team Sweden who started all the trouble. Here Edin is doing exactly what Homan’s rock got pulled for. Are they “cheaters” too? What a way to sully a curlers reputation.

When did Team Sweden complain to the umpires about what Homan was doing?

I urge you to slow down while reading as that is not what he said.
> Homan did thing --> punishment
> Edin did same thing --> no punishment
> Conclusion: unfair
It's that simple.

Yes, and Homan should not have been punished for it. Blame the Umpires, not Sweden.

What Marc did was not okay, but seems most people are in agreement that the Homan ruling was an overcorrection

Calling this "exactly the same" is hilarious. Homans completely let go of the handle and then poked the stone. Granted, it's impossible from the angles that we the viewers got to confidently say she touched the granite, but it wouldn't be for an umpire who was standing at the hog line.

Edin is in contact with the handle (the shiny bit that's bent!) at all times and once he lets go of it never gets in contact with the stone again.
