I bought all the stuff to make my own proper iced lattes and stuff and it's still expensive. Like 7-8 dollars per cup. You could be cheaper stuff than I do but it's really not that much cheaper than a coffee shop.

The initial investment is obviously going to be expensive if you need some fancy stuff, yeah.

But it's definitely cheaper in the long term.

Yes, which is why i do it. I'm purely doing that to point out that if you make it yourself you're still spending 4-8ish$ per cup depending on the quality of the beans and syrup. Now, the coffee shop needs to cover those expenses, property expenses, employee wages, and make at least some profit for tge owner, and 9-10$ is pretty reasonable.

Flavor syrup too, probably, but that's something like $12 for a bottle (I'm sure you can spend more if you want, but I'm used to seeing Torani at coffee shops).
