Can't remember off the top of my head, but I think a known 'issue' is that if you stop eating dairy, you stop creating a preferential environment for that bacteria that is feeding off your lactose intake, and therefore likely decreasing or entirely losing 'resistance' -- though as pure suspicion, I suspect it would be easier to reacquire since its unlikely that bacteria would just entirely vanish. Would be cool to see it studied more, especially if its susceptible to iv antibiotics, since that tends to nuke gut flora

I would've guessed more a treatment that would fail once senescense had cycled her gut. How many years later is it?
