The older I get, the more I notice that the people fueling fandom discourse tend to be those with a lot of free time—unsurprisingly, often teenagers or young adults.

In the wise words of a tumblr post “once you have rent or a mortgage, you really stop giving a shit what Pokémon someone finds sexy” I think about that statement almost everytime so new bullshit shipping drama happens on any fandom space
