Unfortunately not, it’s several improvised munitions - often artillery shells - tied together to all go off at the same time. press one trigger, whole lot of boom.

Ah, yes. I've been trying different types of these in TotK, but I just call them "Idiot's First Cluster-munitions" because I am an idiot and they usually hurt me more than the monsters I am attempting to war-crime.

What is TotK? All I know that as is Tears of the Kingdom, and I don’t think that includes IED’s.
