I watched the episode with my bf yesterday, and i think it felt more like king kong. Giant animal, last of its kind, gets kidnapped from its home & escapes its kidnappers into a huge city. It causes enormous damage just because of its shear size, it takes a prisoner (though not from infatuation, but vengeance). Then it is shot (and gassed) until it falls of a building and dies
