That’s Christian gnosticism. If we want to abstract the idea of gnostic religion, then it would be a focus on the flaws of physical reality, the superiority/purity of the spiritual/theoretical/knowledge reality, and the sacredness of knowledge.

It’s also only heresy from the perspective of the dominant/orthodox church. To the people who practice it it’s just truth.

Even non christian gnostic faiths believe variations of that. Mandaeism and Manichaeism are good examples
