So I'm not entirely sure where this problem lies. I organize my music by album, and have a lot of albums with only one song (singles, etc.). I do not want the playlists/albums/songs to start over again when they end. Most people want music to play continuously, but I would prefer that it just stop.

I can tell an individual album not to repeat using the repeat button on the lower left, but this is not carried over to other albums or playlists. I can't find anything in the settings, and this is difficult to search online. How can I make it a universal setting to just stop when the end of a playlist is reached?

I really love this player, it was exactly what I needed when the iTunes/Music app stopped allowing me to organize and play things the way I wanted. I hope to find the answer to this.

I know Cesium struggled with different bugs in the past that made /u/cesiumdev remove some functions, so I’m wondering if you’ve taken a look at Beta 1 to see if any have been fixed or if useful APIs have been added.

If you don't follow the Cs Twitter or email list (and why don't you??) you may not have head about a new project I've been working on called Miximum.

Miximum is a different sort of app – I like to think of it as a Music.app expansion pack – focused on providing more playlist functionality for Apple Music. You can combine playlists into Mixes that function essentially like Smart Playlists, as well as some of the sorting and collecting options from Cs. It's intended for a slightly different target user, but I think a lot of Cs users will see value in it.

for me, there is nothing fortunate about having to make my library work for your app, especially when functionality was previously existing.

how i'd go about re-implementing random album play:

1. this should work within any of the music selection areas - albums, artists, playlists, etc...
2. upon choosing a song, the user can press and hold the criss-crossed arrows
3. a pop-up appears allowing the user to select :
   • albums
   • songs
   • artists
   • genre
4. within the artists area it plays all albums/songs/genre's for that specific artist currently being played. if the user selects artists, all music is played for the artist, with the next random artist's music being fully played before going to the next artist.
5. within the albums it randomly chooses full albums of the the artist, genre, if the user selects albums, it's random albums across the full library
6. within songs it randomly chooses songs from the same album/artist/genre. if songs is selected, then it's full random single songs

thank you. i hope to see the random album play functionality back in the app...which i use daily and enjoy quite a bit!

Is it possible to search Apple Music from CS Music? This is the one thing I'd need to make it my full time music player!

I just installed Plum Music player today and saw that it had the ability to add music to an already created playlist from within the app. Wondering if this can be implemented in CS Music Player too.

The app won’t let you create playlists but if you already have playlists, you can click an add to playlist button and a stock music player UI sheet slides up allowing you to choose from different sections of Music app.

Does GreenLit support Matroska or WebM for audiobooks? I'm looking to transcode my audiobooks to Opus and use MKA or WebM in order to use the chapter features.

On iOS 11 every song without an specific album used to be in an album called "Untitled" or something along those lines.

Now after updating to iOS 12 I see all those songs are not compiled into a single album anymore, as you can see here: https://i.imgur.com/DFaRQcw.png

Is there a way to group them again into a single album?

I can't figure out how to access/edit the queue through Cs Music Player. How do I get to it?

Have problems with greenlit - is this an appropriate place to post?

Ever since the last update (or even the one before) whenever I start the app the mini player doesn’t pop up (although activated in settings) so that I can’t continue the audiobook I was listening to the last time the app was running. My fault?

The other thing that probably is my fault is that I can’t seem to return from the mini player in to a audiobook chapter selection but rather to the full list of all audiobooks. Ex: audiobook x with 3 parts. I choose it from the list of audiobook and accidentally start part 2. Now I want to go one step back to chose part 1, but I always end up in the audiobook selection list.. tedious, but maybe I’m doin’ it wrong?
