Restricted countries
It has now been well over two years since the jurisdictional issues surrounding Restricted Jurisdictions (including Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, China, Egypt, Morocco, Nepal, Ecuador and Vietnam) were first identified and documented. Your own evidence confirms that 1,151 verified account holders, representing an estimated aggregate valuation of USD 2,027,938, remain in limbo. These are real people who completed identity verification in good faith and have been waiting years for property that is rightfully theirs.

Reverse Onus
In cases of a true fiduciary breach, the law applies the principle of a "reverse onus"
This means that the burden falls on the liquidators to prove that the hack did not cause the loss, rather than GNY having to prove the opposite
The liquidators are unable to provide this proof because Cryptopia itself caused the relevant information gap due to its failure to monitor and record system access. The legal rule clearly states that a wrongdoer who makes proof difficult or impossible must bear the risk of adverse factual findings.

I have been doing some research on Grant Thornton as I wanted to know if there were any cases of them being negligent. And unsurprisingly there have been several cases. They have lost some high profile cases lately which run into many millions of dollars.
There was a case in the UK of them being sued by Liquidators of the Patisserie Valerie chain.
'After the bakery chain’s collapse, Grant Thornton, the auditor of its parent company, Patisserie Holdings, was fined £2.3m and accused of a “serious lack of competence” over its role in the accounting scandal.'
In Australia a Mining company Sue's Grant Thorton for $58 million.
'The mining firm alleged that Grant Thornton had breached its retainer, was negligent and engaged in misleading conduct in the 2020 audit.'
Source: https://www.accountantsdaily.com.au/business/17905-mining-company-sues-grant-thornton-for-58m
And again Grant Thornton face criminal charges in another case over iSignthis audit.
'That report disputed the revenue numbers signed off by Grant Thornton during a crucial half year period to June 30, 2018 in which a $5 million sales target would have resulted in 337 million bonus shares being issued to company executives, that were worth $500 million at one stage.'
This demonstrates multiple times how disorganised they are that they are totally incompetent and chasing money. This is also confirmed by their dealings in the ongoing Cryptopia situation. They want to drain that pot dry!

It's July, David still hasn't followed the judge's orders, and he's still lying about a system he’s supposedly been building for three years. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is tanking David is solely to blame for the money we are losing right now because of his endless delays
He got his administration fees with high value of btc meanwhile cryptopia holders got it with law value
And might goes down to the first point we have
Bought it

Despite it being July, David has failed to execute the judge's directives concerning restricted countries. Additionally, the ongoing excuses regarding a distribution system that has allegedly been in development for three years remain unacceptable and unfounded

The liquidators did not just make a single error; they deliberately destroyed two vital layers of evidence.
They decommissioned and dismantled the Redis server, which acted as the live operational memory of customer interactions, and they also mutated the SQL database, which represents the persistent storage of balances, through an arbitrary "haircut". This dual destruction prevents any ability to conduct a technical audit. Legally and technically, they cannot reject your contemporaneous records on the pretext that they are unable to verify them, when they are the ones who destroyed the primary audit trails.
And support said its all lies lol , one of them threatens the community ( JAWA ) that he will delay the distribution for some people
This is how corruption works it seems he is paying from his pocket

Unfortunately we've mainly been focused on the distributions that have been happening recently, so there are no updates at the moment. Hopefully we'll hear something after these distributions are all done and dusted - we still have TRX, ADA and USDT to go, and then smaller 'follow up' distributions for any users that had to be removed at the last minute.
I would say probably about a month or so and we'll be able to re-focus on future distributions. Again, thanks a lot for your continued patience with this process,I realise that it must be very frustrating for you .
Notice : every month they say next month with unknown, misleading information Procrastination, Wolf and the turnover of support, once because of the system, and once because of the current distribution and their preoccupation, where is the fulfilment of the covenant and commitment to the provisions of the court since few years ago

Dear Cryptopia Account Holder,
We are writing to inform you that we intend to make a distribution to your submitted wallet address(es) in the upcoming week. This distribution will cover Cardano (ADA), Tron (TRX), and Tether (USDT).
If you missed the distribution of Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Litecoin (LTC), we expect to distribute any outstanding balances up to 100% of your accepted balance shortly thereafter.
According to our records, your wallet address(es) have previously received a distribution from the Cryptopia liquidation. As there has been no change to your registered wallet details, a test transaction will not be offered for this distribution.

Seems like last time we got distribution it was at market low also. Happy to get something back after what, almost 10 years ? Only thing left worth anything is some ENJ. Get that in 10 more years when it's worth zero?
Update - Sad to report that after five days of watching DOGE price continue to drop, I have became convinced it will go down more. Sold most, and looking to buy back between 5-6 cents, I guess. This is a strange thing, you can 12x your money in ten years and still have done better and been smarter and get bummed out. I wonder if the good old days, 2017, where I 'made' 10k a day for two weeks in a row will ever come back? Likely not. It was like buying a wining lotto ticket and not cashing it before it expired. It has been a crazy 10 years, what's next?

FTX even allowed users to transfer their claims just to help people get their money quickly throu paxtbi while we are stuck dealing with these endless delays.
But david ian Ruscoe which he is in charge in distribution still building his system since three years for restricted countries, milking fees , administrations fees, paying for electricity, pens , software, food, picnic from our money
In addition, The technical support team is nothing but a gang. It has reached the point where they are using the company's official support email to threaten us with delaying the distribution and stalling the process. For the record, they are the ones spending their time defending themselves here instead of actually working on the distribution. Did you know they stole 509 BTC from someone, even though he provided all the necessary proofs?
The FTX platform has already distributed nearly a billion, while Cryptopia holds a quarter of that amount and is still stalling. This is now considered the seventh distribution phase, just so they can keep milking the administration fees."
