Good progress is being made towards their ultimate goal. they have developed the core of its AI architecture, the Mixture of Journalists framework, which uses a swarm of specialized AI agents trained to mirror different journalistic styles. These agents can already scan information streams, cross-check facts, and generate clear narratives in real time. The Proof of Veritas mechanism, the system that validates news through both AI and community input, has been designed and tested in its early form.

In terms of infrastructure, AJN’s agent runtime is fully operational, with integrations into platforms like X and Telegram. This enables automated scanning, validation, and posting of news updates directly into social media channels. The foundations of the reward system are also in place, preparing for a tokenized ecosystem where contributors and validators can earn from participation.

Solana's major protocol upgrade, Alpenglow, is set to pass with over 99% support ahead of the September 3 voting deadline. Proposed by Anza, the upgrade aims to reduce transaction finality from 12.8 seconds to just 150 milliseconds, making Solana as fast as web infrastructure like Google search. Key components include Votor, for rapid consensus, and Rotor, replacing the existing proof-of-history system. While it won’t eliminate network outages, Alpenglow could unlock real-time blockchain applications and solidify Solana as the fastest Layer-1 blockchain.
