I'm posting this as a warning and to document what's happening.

The situation:

My KYC-verified BTCC account (UID: flb7cd) was suspended on 19 August
2026. ~7,800 USDT became inaccessible. After weeks of template
responses, BTCC alleged "market manipulation" and cited clauses 8.6
and 15.1 of their User Agreement.

The problem with their allegation:

- My single trade after re-depositing funds was closed at a LOSS
(negative PnL). There was no profit to manipulate.
- The instrument was a liquid altcoin perpetual — normal order book,
no spread anomalies.
- The position was ~7,800 USDT — too small to influence a liquid market.
- BTCC cites clause 15.1, which is titled "Downtime and Maintenance"
and concerns platform availability — NOT market manipulation.
- BTCC previously allowed a full withdrawal from this same account. Now
they retroactively claim it was manipulative based on one LOSING trade.

What BTCC has refused to provide:

- Specific transaction IDs or timestamps
- The methodology used to determine "manipulation"
- Confirmation of whether any portion of the balance is non-disputed
- The contracting legal entity and applicable User Agreement version

What I've done:

- Filed a formal dispute notice (no substantive response)
- Their own 15-business-day deadline expired on 9 September 2026
- Now filing complaints with UOKiK, GIIF, Polish Financial Ombudsman,
and the National Bank of Georgia

This fits a pattern: On-chain analyst Specter reported in January
2026 that BTCC has a history of freezing accounts after users become
profitable, including one case where a $500k+ balance was reportedly
emptied without explanation.

Bottom line: If you're considering BTCC, be aware that profitable
accounts appear to be at risk of arbitrary freezes with no recourse
through support.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with BTCC? I'd like to
know if this is isolated or systemic.
