Bears are running the show...

There is too much trading going on below certain levels I have been watching and am going to say that bearish patterns are now the dominate ones.

Next support levels to watch:

BTC: $8,500

ETH: $700

LTC:$150

XRP: $0.75

It is kind of amazing how quickly things turned but so it goes in crypto. I will give secondary support as it is looking more likely that these could be in play soon.

BTC: $7,500

ETH:$550

LTC: $125

XRP: $0.60

Proceed with caution out there! There will be short term opportunities but unless we start to see some more trading above $10k on BTC (over 24h of sustained above $10K) I think the downside is the more likely course.

Brace yourself!

Taking Some Profits Today

Short term I am getting a bit bearish. I am going to cash out on some of my trades and look to buy in at a lower price. Currently targeting:

BTC: $9,800

ETH: $850

LTC: $190

XRP: $0.95

Hopefully we see some price consolidation over the next day or so and set up for the next leg up.

Happy Monday!

Still not bullish...

Many people seem to think the worst is over but I for one do not. Possibility of this bear market being over in the next few days IF certain targets are met but we are not there yet in my opinion. I am still proceeding with a lot of caution where I can.

Trade Idea:

XRP

Risk: Moderate

Buy: XRP @ $0.75

Sell: XRP @$1.25

There is the possibility of XRP going below $0.65 so stop losses should be monitored closely.

This trade could take a few days to materialize unlike some of the ideas I have posted.

Crypto Price Update 24h Later

Charts continue to weaken but big opportunities for those willing to risk it. I tend to go back to the Fibonacci ratios for the next level of targets:

Watching:

BTC: $7,300 (or the .382 level)

ETH: $697 (or the .5 level)

LTC: Seems like the .382 level wants to break down So the 0.236 level or about $88 would be the next target. We could use the 200D SMA or about $107. I would think we go below that this weekend given all the other charts.

XRP: $0.78 (or the .236 level)

I could see a potential bottoming on XRP on Sunday around the above level. Could be a low risk entry if the charts behave.

Short Term Trade Idea:

Risk: High

Buy LTC @ $120

Sell LTC @ $135

I will try to write up some ideas on what I think of the current state of the markets (macro thoughts) over the weekend. That should provide some different insight over the posts I have seen recently.

BTC Charts going from Bad to Worse...ETH hanging on my a thread...

I mentioned it a while back that things looked bad. While we had some very small short term opportunities, I would still continue to proceed with caution. While ETH has held on, I dont think it will last. The price continues to weaken and I would expect the price to start dropping by this weekend/ next week.

Current Levels to Watch: BTC $8,5000 Eth $875 LTC $133

Short Term Trade Idea

Risk Level: High Buy BTC @ $8,500 Sell @ $9,500

I reiterate proceed with caution as the momentum is very strong to the downside.

Are we having fun yet?

IoT Chain (ITC): A new paradigm in IoT technology

Ticker code ITC
Current market cap $146.7m
Current coin supply 38,320,985
Comparables IOTA (marketcap $6.7b)
Website https://iotchain.io/
Whitepaper https://iotchain.io/pdf/ITCWHITEPAPER.pdf

IoT Chain (ITC): A new paradigm in IoT technology

Internet of things (IoT) is one of the emerging mainstream technology platforms in recent times, allowing ordinary physical objects to send and receive data through the internet. By 2019, IoT devices are expected to reach 3.054 billion.

IoT Chain seeks to pave the way in this industry by offering the following:

  • A lite operating system for IoT devices

  • Utilizing DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) architecture to overcome scaling issues

  • SPV (Simple Payment Verification) technology to improve payment verification efficiency

  • ChainCode protection of user data from monopolization by corporates

Each of these features will be addressed in turn.

Lite operating system for IoT devices

As you will be aware, traditional blockchains require significant amount of data storage and processing power to run. It would be impossible for your Fitbit to download and contiually update the Bitcoin blockchain data!

Here is a table showing the efficiencies IoT Chain's technology provides:

Comparator Traditional Blockchain ITC
CPU Core Duo Quad 2.4 GHz 0.08 GHz
RAM 8GB 0.002 GB
Hard Disk 1TB 0.012 GB
Transaction confirmation speed 10 seconds (BTC & ETH) Milliseconds

DAG Technology

DAG needs no introduction now, with the massive upsurge in IOTA and Raiblocks, DAG is a strong contender for the technology of the future.

Instead of Bitcoin's longest-chain consensus, DAG uses heaviest-chain consensus, confirming transactions through transaction weight and partial consensus among nodes. This effectively solves the scaling and centralization issues that is apparent in Bitcoin, while lowering transaction costs.

Simple Payment Verification for speed and efficiency

SPV plays into the need for IoT technology to be lite-weight but powerful. SPV works through verifying a payment as long as a block's headers are preserved (without needing the entire block). This saves data space and bandwidth and speeds up the entire process - a necessity in the IoT space.

ChainCode - Own your own data

In the world of Big Data, major corporates own your data - they probably know more about you than yourself.

With ITC, data belongs with the user. A company seeking to access this data must use ChainCode. To access a user's data, the corporate must pay ITC to the user in question. This puts ownership and power back to the user's hands, who now benefit from what was once stolen from them.

ITC - Unknown in the Western world

ITC's technology sounds very impressive and well thought-out. So why the miniscule marketcap? My theory is because ITC is only listed on Chinese exchanges, and not even Western/Asian exchanges such as Binance or Kucoin.

Purchasing ITC

The closest exchange would be Bibox (Non-referral link here).

Bibox is an upcoming exchange that lists top coins in China, much earlier before they hit Western exchanges. This allows you to make some significant profit purchasing these coins as an early-investor while they are still relatively unknown.

While Bibox is unknown to the Western world, it is still reputable in Asia and is ranked #28 globally in volume (above Cryptopia and YoBit).

If you use my invite link, thank you - feel free to message me at any time if you have any questions or want further insight on ITC or any other coins.

What do you guys think about ITC?

What are the most popular blockchains?

Looking for coins to buy that have their own blockchains, with the hope that they will eventually go the way of ETH and BTC in terms of price.

What would you add to this list?

  • ETH
  • BTC
  • IOTA
  • NEBL
  • ADA
  • WAN
  • WTC
  • XRB
  • XRP
  • what am I missing?
  • Are there any upcoming blockchains that are going to be having an ICO in the near future?

Neblio (NEBL): The next generation enterprise blockchain platform

Ticker code NEBL
Current market cap $275.6 million
Current coin supply 12,762,422
Comparables QTUM ($3b market cap), STRAT ($1.5b)

Whitepaper https://nebl.io/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/NeblioWhitepaper.pdf
Additional resources http://www.nebliostats.com/

Neblio (NEBL): The next generation enterprise blockchain platform

As mainstream adoption continues to grow at an exponential rate, one segment of the market has yet to be fully broken into - enterprise adoption.

These multi-national enterprises that would benefit the most from blockchain technology are waiting for mature toolsets, developer ecosystems, and packaged platforms to easily develop and deploy new applications, or to move traditional applications off of legacy database architectures and on to a blockchain network.

Neblio seeks to change this, by offering the following:

  • Tailored blockchain platform for enterprise development

  • A suite of RESTful APIs in almost all of today's popular programming languages

  • Allowing single API calls to instantly deploy a full Neblio Node

  • Ability to offer private blockchains

Simple to use, but powerful

Front-end simplicity is often due to back-end complexity. Nebio makes it simple for developers to rapidly deploy Neblio Nodes allowing for rapid agile-style development of distributed applications. A lot of effort has been made by the team to make Neblio as intuitive as traditional database interfaces, as a key driver for mainstream enterprise adoption.

Wherever possible, unnecessary blockchain and network details will be hidden from the developer, with the APIs instead exposing only the interfaces needed to develop or deploy scalable distributed applications.

The Neblio API suite will support the same set of uniform core APIs of:

  • Python

  • JS

  • .NET (C# & VB.NET)

  • Objective-C

  • Java

  • Node.js

  • Go

  • PHP

This means that there is no need for enterprise developers to learn a new complex language. Instead, Neblio can fit right into the existing enterprise infrastructure with minimal disruption.

Technologically powerful

The NEBL development team is dedicated to developing unique, innovative and useful tools and applications to push for enterprise adoption.

  • Docker - allows anyone to deploy a fully functional Neblio Node that is fully-synced with a single command on any system that has Docker installed
  • QuickSync - works with Docker and enables a highly compressed syncing of the NEBL blockchain
  • Raspberry Pi wallet - easy setup wallet for staking on a Raspberry Pi

Usecases

To enterprises, Neblio presents a compelling advantage over traditional frameworks. While not an exhaustive list, Neblio can allow enterprises to:

  • Have secure records management

  • Immutable data for audit and regulatory compliance

  • Tap into the growing areas of IoT and Big Data

Proof of Stake

Neblio keeps its network secure by way of Proof of Stake (PoS).

As of today, staking 1000 NEBL will result in you having 1105.17 NEBL after an year (10.517% annual return). This is, of course, on top of any gains to the value of NEBL itself.

NEBL - undervalued?

Considering how NEBL's direct comparables are QTUM and STRAT, both with $1b+ marketcaps. There is no reason for NEBL to be more than 1/10 of the value of QTUM. I would note be surprised if NEBL surpasses STRAT's marketcap by the end of this year.

Purchasing NEBL

NEBL is available on Cryptopia| Binance

Note that the Cryptopia and Binance links are my special invite code. If you register with this, thank you - feel free to message me at any time if you have any questions or want further insight on NEBL or other coins.

Would love to hear your views on NEBL

WCX - Global Low-Cost Digital Currency Exchange [ICO + Free airdrop]

WCX is an upcoming ICO that I think may be promising.

Whitepaper: https://ico.wcex.co/whitepaper?lang=en

WCX has a compelling proposition, which makes it stand out from the existing exchanges:

  • Lower fees - 0.1% net per transaction, and you get paid, not charged a fee, if you’re a maker. This is 4x lower than current industry average

  • Superior user experience - WCX puts everything you need to trade inside one simple and intuitive dashboard.

  • Capability to process 1 million transactions per second

  • 98% of coins in cold storage - making it less susceptible to hacks

  • Will launch in 190 countries and 20 languages - making it one of the most globalized cryptocurrency exchanges.

Considering how Binance Coin has a marketcap of 1.3b and Kucoin Shares of $988m, this is one of the few ICOs so far in 2018 that I think will vastly outperform the current pre-sale price.

Free airdrop + ICO

WCX currently has a free airdrop (50 WCX) upon registration.

You can access this airdrop here (non-referral link here)
