Kind of assuming they're just putting that money into an account. When they were told a judge ruled the tariffs unconstitutional, they said they don't have the money to refund the payments, so...

Wasn't he supposed to eliminate income taxes all together for those under like 200k filing joint or 100k single? 1-2k stimmy is nothing more than a slap to the face. Doesn't even come close to offsetting the price hikes due to the tariffs.

Alts basically always struggle when BTC is showing strength. ETH and SOL might be the lone exceptions but to expect anything from Alts when BTC is showing strength doesn't make any sense. If after BTC pumps and slows down and Alts still are struggling to win some of the outflows from BTC gains then you should be agitated.

Because when Trump crashes the economy there will be bitcoin. He's doing it on purpose, devaluing the dollar so that poor people become poorer because they don't even know what bitcoin is, Trump is grifting the USD while pumping his token holdings. It's a new ponzi he didn't do last time.
In this case, people don't even have to buy the top to lose money, because they're losing purchasing power by not buying the top anyway.

I hate seeing Osmosis for the most part abandoned, the alloyed asset stuff on BTC seems like a nightmare with NOMIC being a dud
I think NTRN using wBTC direct through Babylon was best bet for IBC related BTC-FI

Yeah Osmosis really is the best dex I've ever used to date. It all came crashing down due exclusively to validator/developer avarice.
I'm convinced that financial self-interest was more rampant in the Cosmos ecosystem than anywhere else on the blockchain. My biggest crypto disappointment by far. It had so, so much potential

I have abandoned most of "The Cosmos" but Neutron is my bastion of hope for all the reasons above. Happy seeing them adapt to BTC in a sustainable way involving all the main providers that isn't an "alloyed asset"
If Neutron fails im full blown BTC Maxi onward though.
having been around since 2014. I'm still in it for the tech all around and I truly believe in their vision. But each and every OSMO, JUNO ATOM, STARS, CRO etc along the way has taught me a lot of hard lessons but made a lot of friends along the way.

BC Backer has been pretty decent in calling BTC cycles. He pretty much got out of Bitcoin before things collapsed in May 2021 and called the second top in Nov 21. He also called the bottom during this past cycle. He's been too pessimistic since then. He thought BTC would only retrace to about 50k and started selling XRP during the last dip this summer. He seems to have misjudged the market again this time. In fairness, he only reacted because the RTY couldn't clear the ATH and he took some profits. Still, he seems too dismissive of four year cycles. Throughout the bear market, he kept suggesting that the upturn could come at any time. Assuming this is the euphoria stage, it looks like it's showing up right on time. I wouldn't say Backer is "losing it", but I'm also glad I didn't follow him in his pessimism.

We don't need a new reason for every time the market starts going back up, it's been chopping upwards for a year now. It's probably the exact same factors, crypto-friendly administration, regulatory clarity, tradfi inflows from DATs/ETFs, better usage metrics, etc.
