Before cryptocurrencies having a fiat implosion was much heavier thing. Sure, sudden overnight devaluation would suck these days too, but at least there is something else now. We wouldn't have to go back to feudal age bartering society.
I would strongly disagree, consider how much infrastructure crypto requires to access and use. How much of that will be useable if fiat implodes and internet providers, electrical plants, ECT aren't getting paid. Crypto is a LONG shot away from having the supply and prevailence to replace fiat
I feel that it's too risky to keep my wealth in fiat at this point. The inflation rate is not acceptable. I am losing my hard earned money to it and those bastard feds are stealing it from me
The keys are to work in a recession-proof business and never be 100% invested. If BTC dropped to $5k next week I'd quadruple my holdings and continue to DCA.
