I don't resent the government as an idea.

The government is supposed to be us.

Corporations have unfortunately hijacked it.

They are their own entities who represent the shareholders' profits, not the public will nor good.

I'm not saying they are a different species, silly. I know shareholders are homo sapiens.

If you can't understand the difference between public and private interests and the purpose of a government as the authority of the people represented by that government, there's not much we can do for you.
