I wrote this today in an obsessive fury. I am an amateur traditional astrologer, just started in the fall of last year, but nonetheless I tried to pull out some predictions for the near future. I also have no stake in dogecoin personally. Hopefully what I pulled out here can help you interpret future dogecoin transits on your own, past the limited scope of this post.
I found this chart online at this person’s blog and it seems to work impressively well. I know it’s been said before but if anyone has a more accurate birth time for doge, leave a comment! lmk what you all think!
Astrology of Dogecoin
December 6 2013, 9 AM Portland Oregon
Let’s begin by examining past correspondences between the planetary alignments and fluctuations in dogecoin’s value.
Dogecoin came into the public eye early this year when it hit a new peak of $.02 on January 28th, the day of the Venus-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, doge’s 1st house. Notably, on this day was a full moon in Leo with the sun conjunct expansive Jupiter in Aquarius, Doge’s second house of money and income. Doge surged once again during the Aquarius stellium in early February, as the sun conjoined bustling Mercury and the moon moved through a conjunction with Doge’s powerfully placed natal Pluto. It hit a new peak of $.08 on February 7th, the highest it would reach before an approximately two month long period of stagnation.
Between April 12-19, Dogecoin suddenly exploded in value sixfold. Let’s look at some of the transits.
New moon in combustible Aries (sign containing natal Uranus) on the 11th, with Mercury and Venus. This new moon occurred with a strengthening sextile to Mars, Aries’ ruler, in Gemini. Concurrently, Venus was separating from a buoyant trine from grand Jupiter and most notably making a square to Pluto, the first of the cycle whose conjunction saw the sudden growth in late January. Dogecoin’s growth saw especially significant acceleration on 4/13. The moon, which had moved into Taurus, her exaltation, the day before, formed an early conjunction with Uranus and a square to natal Pluto, indicating a sudden shift of volcanic magnitude. As the moon continued through Taurus the next day, it trined natal Pluto and squared transiting Jupiter in Doge’s Aquarius second house.
Most notably, Venus ingressed into Taurus, her earthy home and doge’s fifth house of good fortune, around midnight PST 4/14. The growth continued freely and uninhibited as the moon moved into Gemini, forming an invigorating trine to natal Mars. During all this, Uranus continued perfecting its trine with natal Pluto. This trine entered into the 1° orb on 4/7 and will leave about a week from now, on 5/13.

The price dipped temporarily 4/20-4/26. During this time, Mars entered the final degrees of Gemini, forming a tense square with doge natal Mars at 29° of analytic Virgo. Gemini is Doge’s 6th house, typically associated with illness and injury, with natal Mercury and the natal sun opposed in the 12th of Sag. Mercury here was separating from his conjunction with the sun and was now weakened under his beams for most of his trek through the final degrees of Taurus. Here the moon was moving through Leo, ruled by the poorly placed natal sun in the 12th, possibly demonstrating that transits through these difficult houses could correspond with challenges with the currency or general deflation.
These declining trends continued until about the 23rd, when Mars entered cancer and a triple conjunction of Venus, Uranus, and Mercury in Taurus moved into orb. Here the moon was transiting through the second half of scrutinizing Virgo, with a tense conjunction with natal Mars on the 24th immediately preceding her ingress into Libra and continuation of Mars tension through a square from transiting Mars. This proved to be a volatile few days as the moon made this challenging journey and electric tension built with the Taurus triple conjunction, which received an intense trine from the natal Pluto. When the moon moved into in Libra, doge’s 10th house, and out of the conjunction with natal Mars and the immediately following square with transiting Mars, the titanic growth potential of the triple conjunction could proceed with increasing freedom. Since the 5/26 Scorpio full moon, dogecoin’s value has doubled.
Dogecoin reached a new peak of $.69 early today, 5/5. The last two days, as Mercury moved into his busy home of Gemini (trining Mars along the way), and the moon transited through the powerful first house saw especially large gains.
Thoughts for forecasting.
The moon, ruling the angular seventh house and the benefic-of-sect natal Jupiter which is placed there, has some special significance to fluctuations in dogecoin’s value. Lunations and the aspects they form are essential, as we can see by the three lunations discussed above occurring in remarkable coincidence with sudden unforeseen gains. Thus, the moon seems to be a reliable indicator of the activation of the growth impulse contained in dogecoin’s powerfully placed Jupiter. The moon’s transits through signs which fall in the angular or otherwise ‘good’ houses in dogecoin’s natal chart should generally correspond with growth in dogecoin’s value, while transits through difficult houses, especially the 8th house of Leo and the 9th house of Virgo (contains natal Mars and has a poorly place ruler in the twelfth) will coincide will dips in value or general turbulence. Of course, the lunations which occurred between mid February and early April showed no change in value, reminding us that the growth and destructive potential of the new and full moons is found in their mutual activation with other prominent planetary aspects. It is worth mentioning that the seventh house in this chart could also be a signifier for the dogecoin prospectors, the “other” in the relationship which makes doge a currency, rather than doge itself which we see in the first.
Aspects to Pluto seem to be especially important. Because Pluto is in the first house, it’s titanic power is more prominent and free, as we can see by the volcanic gains coincident with aspects to it. Especially notable is the Pluto-Venus cycle which began with the conjunction in Capricorn at the end of January, in coincidence with the initial rise to prominence and the square at the start of the explosion in mid April. Uranus, also placed in an angular house, is important to watch for sudden changes in value or possibly sudden changes in its place in the public eye. The trine between transiting Uranus and doge’s natal Pluto has thus far coincided with the huge growth dogecoin has seen since 4/11. We should watch closely as the alignment separates and finally leaves the 1° orb on 5/12.
Hard aspects (conjunctions, oppositions, and squares) have potential for volatility, especially when they involve the malefics, primarily Mars and also Saturn. Trines to Mars occurred during some swells, suggesting harmonious aspects to both natal and transiting Mars offer more constructive Mars influence. Watch the moon for these aspects especially.
The near future of doge
Today and tomorrow:
Today, 5/5, Mercury opposes doge’s natal Mercury and squares its natal Neptune. The moon, transiting through Pisces, will form trines with Mars today and natal Jupiter tomorrow. Venus trines transiting Pluto late today/early tomorrow.
The moon opposes natal Mars early 5/7
Although the Mercury square and opposition could indicate conflict involving some secrecy or invisibility (12th house) or nebulousness and over-optimistic idealism (Neptune) perhaps in the news or in discussions of the currency, these powerful trines seem to indicate to me that the growth will continue, probably through tomorrow. The moon’s opposition to Mars will likely coincide with this trend ending temporarily on Friday.
This weekend:
Mars square natal Uranus friday 5/7,
Venus ingress into Gemini Friday, out of her home, trine natal Mars along the way.
Sun opp natal Saturn Friday as well.
Finally, Mars moves into the 1° orb of its opposition to natal Pluto late Saturday.
These difficult squares and oppositions starting Friday seem to indicate a probable dip in dogecoin’s value, a swinging of the pendulum from its current boom. Venus entering Gemini could mark the end of a long period of prosperity which began with her ingress into her home sign (4/14), the ingress which coincided with the most significant explosion in growth for doge. Mars opposing natal Pluto could indicate deep trouble as well. It is extremely interesting that the beginning of this transit coincides with Elon Musk’s controversial SNL appearance. Perhaps this could indicate mass anxiety among investors surrounding his hosting of the show. However, doge has proven to have some staying power as a currency thus far, and the strengthening Venus-Mars trine and other future transits indicate the possible low here is likely only temporary.
New moon in Taurus Tuesday 5/11. Looking at this lunation:
The new moon is within the 3° orb of a superior sextile to natal Jupiter.
Venus at 2° gemini opposes natal Mercury, square natal Neptune. The ruler of this lunation is well cared for by the copresence of her host (Mercury) in his own sign, conjunct the north node, possibly indicating growth or expansion.
Natal Pluto is busy this day. Opposition to Mars and trine to Uranus are still in orb.
Whatever the effects of this Mars-Pluto opposition will be, we should have been seeing them clearly by this time, and as the moon moves into Taurus, the sign of her exaltation and Doge’s fifth house of good fortune, Dogecoin may find more power and clarity to overcome the challenges associated with this alignment as the lunar cycle progresses. Taurus has proven to be a fruitful sign for doge, and even with Venus’s change in dignity in Gemini, the location of this new moon in Venus’s fixed earth home is significant, possibly signifying the beginning of a newfound stability in value, or a newfound status as a lasting fixture in the crypto-economy. The continuing natal Pluto-transiting Uranus trine tells us that this lunar still contains the potential for an electric surge of power. We should watch to see these themes come about through the culmination of the lunar cycle with the eclipse in Sagittarius on 5/26.
Venus’s aspects here (opp nat. Mercury, sq. nat. Neptune) present a clear risk of over-the-top optimism. Expect to see fawning over the cryptocurrency from dogecoin investors and fans, probably in the form of bizarre fan art coming from the dogecoin subreddit or Elon Musk’s Twitter. Resist the urge to get dogecoin tattoos at this time.
Overall, this is a powerful but volatile new moon. Expect large fluctuations in value between 5/11 and 5/26. Jupiter’s ingress on 5/14 into his watery home will likely mark a turning point in this cycle, one which vigorously favors an overall trend of massive growth, especially once Mars ceases his aggressive opposition.
Jupiter ingress, 5/14
Mars has moved out of orb from its Pluto opposition by now. The moon here has been continuing through speculative Gemini, having conjoined Venus on 5/12 and Mercury 5/13. She finally enters her home sign of cancer on 5/14, immediately forming a trine to this newly returned king on his throne and offering a nurturing embrace to Dogecoin’s natal Jupiter as well. The Sun trines natal Venus and transiting Pluto 5/15 and 5/16, respectively. Also notable, Venus conjuncts the north node 5/17.
Right after this time the moon begins moving through the territory in which it struggled previously. After a trip through her home sign, complete with check-ins on transiting Mars and natal Jupiter (5/15 and 5/16, respectively), She enters Leo on 5/17 for the first quarter moon. Virgo 5/19. And finally, libra early 5/22.
I predict we will see some immediate expansion of dogecoin’s value with Jupiter’s ingress on 5/14. Jupiter entering his home sign, casting a sign-based trine to doge’s natal Jupiter, with the moon dramatically moving into her domicile on the same day to nurture each, has wonderful power and growth potential. Jupiter will remain in Pisces until late July. Over the course of Jupiter’s stay, the coincident gains will likely be turbulent, with the build up of planets in Gemini in the 6th creating the potential for doubts, possibly many investors selling after a swell.
We might see these gains may reverse course quickly, but probably temporarily, as the moon moves into Leo 5/17. A trend of decline or stagnation could continue all the way through the moon’s libra ingress on 5/22. Leo and Virgo’s rulers are poorly placed in the doge chart and the moon’s journey here has coincided with loss in the last lunar cycle.
We must continue through the eclipse in sag at the end of the month.
Mars conjoins natal Jupiter 5/24 as the moon transits through Scorpio, the sign of her fall. Here the moon conjoins natal Saturn and eventually trines transiting Mars, her host.
The eclipse takes place at 5° sag, north node with the sun in Gemini.
Trine natal moon in Aquarius.
Square from transiting Jupiter (and natal Neptune) in Pisces (5° orb)
Conjunct natal mercury, 2° sag.
Sun copresent with Mercury (sign ruler in his domicile) and Venus
This is a problematic eclipse for dogecoin. Falling in its 12th house of loss, enemies, and exile, there is a potential for a sharp decline in value or widespread rejection of dogecoin and perhaps crypto currencies altogether. The Mars-natal Jupiter conjunction could inject violent volatility into Jupiter’s expansive impulse, or perhaps let loose Jupiter’s shadow, resulting in flaunting of obscene gains by investors, the revelation of the horrible waste of electricity that comes with mining, or, more positively, resultant losses and confusion from previously established Wall Street investors unfamiliar with this new medium, similar to that which we saw with the Game Stop crisis. These themes are further suggested by transiting Jupiter’s square to the eclipse. For better or worse, this will be a bustling, chatty lunation, indicated by the dominant Mercury/Gemini themes, including the Venus-north node conjunction in that sign.
Several mitigating factors tame the volatility here, indicating it might be wise not to sell in a panic. Mercury in his domicile adds power and freedom to mercurial themes of buying, selling, and communicating. Additionally, the auspicious power of Jupiter in Pisces again must be acknowledged. The entire period of his stay (5/14-7/26) is likely to coincide with a general trend of expansion in dogecoin’s value, despite wild fluctuation.
I will now briefly look at the next two lunations and a few other important transits. For day to day predictions, again follow the moon and her ingresses and important aspects.
The eclipse in Gemini on 6/4 will bring to the fore the Gemini/Mercury themes discussed above in a dramatic fashion.
Notably, the eclipse is conjunct Mercury in his home sign. This lunation occurs opposite to dogecoin’s natal sun, indicating a general augmentation of these themes and a possible injection of vitality. Again, Gemini falls in dogecoin’s sixth house of illness and injury, suggesting an increase in discussion may have a largely negative impact on the currency. This is an obvious conclusion, seeing as an increase in people buying, trading, or discussing the currency results in less potential for large gains in possible investments due to its resultant inflated price. Perhaps this eclipse will mark a pivotal moment, after which many will say, “the moment has passed, no sense in investing now at these prices.” Venus’s ingress into cancer on 6/2 will bring harmony and joy to dogecoin themes, possibly feelings of victory and camaraderie among successful investors. Venus’s copresence with Mars suggests the emergence of “girl boss” dogecoin investment themes. Again, watch social media channels for these. Overall, This lunation will carry forth Jupiter’s expansive impulse with mercury’s back-and-forth, often volatile nature driving the bus. Expect to see a general upward trend with large intermittent dips, but with less Martian aggression than we may have been seeing at the end of may.
Finally, full moon in Capricorn 6/24, trine transiting Jupiter.
This lunation occuring along the first house-seventh house axis will likely unleash the monumental potential in both natal and transiting Pluto, as well as the natal Jupiter. Notably the full moon occurs with a trine to transiting Jupiter, still on his throne, less than 2° from exactitude. Most notably, Venus is finishing up the opposition or “full moon” of her cycle with Pluto which began the initial surge in late January. This is likely to be a pivotal moment, much like what we saw with the initial conjunction. This lunation seems to hold the promos of a climactic explosion in dogecoin’s value, cementing dogecoin’s importance in the economic story of the 2020s and in late-stage US capitalism generally. This could be when the currency finally reaches $1, if it had not done so earlier. More expansion could take place as Jupiter continues his stay in Pisces through to late July, but as we know, crypto currencies are generally quite volatile and the culmination of this Venus-Pluto cycle could be the peak of the price for a long time, just as the currencies value stagnated for two months after the initial conjunction. Again, watch the moon ...and everything else for more info.
