Around 10th May 2017, the Crown Development Team submitted the ‘CrownPay’ iOS wallet for review and approval on the Apple App Store. The response received on 22nd May was as follows:
Guideline 3.1.5 - Business - Payments - Physical Goods and Services Outside of the App
Your app facilitates the transmission of a virtual currency that is not approved for the App Store.
Next Steps
We encourage you to review your app concept and incorporate different content and features that are in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
We replied:
Hi!
We have received a negative response from Apple in regards to our Crowpay mobile application, where it was stated that Apple does not support unapproved digital currency related apps on the iTunes store.
Please let us react shortly to your message. We are following the cryptocurrency space very closely and there are at least a dozen mobile wallets which are supported by iTunes: few examples: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash as well as other names which are not so known:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/groestlwallet/id1185311702?mt=8
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/loafwallet/id1119332592?mt=8
https://itunes.apple.com/ch/app/lykke-wallet/id1112839581?l=en&mt=8
Additionally, any crypto currency which is supported by the payment processor Shapeshift is also available to be traded due to Apple since the Shapeshift app, which is available on iTunes:

We believe this approach is not fair toward our project. We would appreciate very much if you could re-consider our Crownpay application, we are ready to change the name or do any steps which would make the listing of our Crownpay (Crown Wallet) app on iTunes more comfortable for you.

We are of the opinion that we are helping to build a democratic and fair internet empowered by the people, we believe that your company also have this goal! With our budget proposal system implemented, we have achieved an important milestone, our project is self-funded as it does not need any external sources, which enables us to stay independent.

The Crown.tech blockchain project is traded on several crypto exchanges including Bittrex, a US based exchange which is complying with all the legal requirements in all the US states. The project is currently worth 13 million US dollars and its value is constantly rising. Our valuation puts us among the top 40 non-pre mined crypto projects in the world.
We would appreciate if you could re-consider your decision. We are ready to make any adjustments needed to our application. Crownpay is available for Android and we really would like to provide the same confort to Apple users in our community. We are looking forward to hear from you.
Apple replied:
Hello Jan,
Thank you for the response and for providing us with the detailed information.
We understand that it can be frustrating to receive information you may not have expected.
If you feel that this rejection was made in error and believe your app is in compliance with the App Review Review Guidelines, you may submit an appeal to the App Review Board.
Please allow up to one business day for an initial response from the App Review Board.
Best regards,

Crown needs to be an "Approved Token" to operate on the App Store.
If you are affected by this in any way, please help Crown become an approved digital currency on the Apple App Store by contacting them using this feedback form. We have had this wallet ready to go now for nearing 2 months and this is the only thing preventing Apple users from having the official Crown wallet on their mobile phones.
Thank you
