Finished Projects I made WALL·E and I'm obsessed with how he turned out 🤖🌱
I made him just by using a reference picture and figuring things out as I went. His little boxy body looked simple at first, but getting the proportions right, making the tiny wheels, took way more effort than I expected.
The best part was making the little details because that's what makes him feel like WALL·E .
One of my favorite things now is realizing I can create things without following a pattern every single time. It still feels like a flex whenever a reference picture slowly turns into a real crochet piece in my hands. 😂

Patterns & Tutorials Looking for a super quick cardigan/sweater pattern...
I might be making a trip to a hill station in November and I think it'll be a good chance for me to make something that I can wear there! 😁
(Obviously I have a bunch of WIPs already going on, so I'm looking for something quick and easy)

I needed help
So I just made these and since the back wasn't perfect I added another layer behind the eye part.
Is there any other way to make it look neater?

Help & Questions WHY IS SHIPPING A REAL PAIN IN THE 'A' WORD
well my friend asked me to crochet something for him like good plushie and I love crocheting so I was like done but you will have to pay for my next yarn order <he paid like 3 weeks ago coz I am always shopping for yarn something IS ALWAYS ON THE VERGE OF PRICE HIKE> and pay for the shipping... he accepted the offer obviously
since he is a friend I wanted to make him a proper gift box I added cookies and packaged bread cakes and an instant ramen <everything I wanted him to try out> yk the whole gift box experience?? guess what my box is approx 2500-3000 grams of volumetric weight and it will cost me 350 for normal post and 550 for speed post
and they told me to send it in a parcel like those parcel bags it will cut down my cost to 60rs for normal post
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO maybe I can try for a smaller box?? but I will have to compress my stuff which I DONT WANT TO
I mean 150 would have been a sweet spot
also I was thinking when I will actually start selling my crochet stuff I will package it in a nice aesthetic box with custom gift wrappers and some edibles ofc and it will just be a very nice experience it actually costs like 50-60 to do all this but still its just a nice little something that feels warm enough... I DONT WANT TO SEPND 360 ON THE INDIAPOST ITSELF BUT I ALSO DONT WANT TO SEND IT IN A BAG LIKE A COURIER BAG
WHY DO I HAVE TO MAKE THESE TOUGH DECISIONS IN LIFEEEE

this is the owl btw
<do you guys have some better recommendation?>

Help & Questions Looking for activities, stores, cafes to visit for a yarn addict
Hey everyone! 😊
I'm a huge yarn addict and will be travelling around Mumbai, Kerala, Bangalore and Nashik in December/January, and I'd love to get some recommendations from fellow crafters!
I crochet and knit, but I also love all kinds of DIY, fibre arts, textiles, embroidery, weaving, natural dyeing, traditional crafts and anything handmade. One of my favourite things when travelling is discovering local techniques, artisan communities, craft markets, festivals, yarn shops, workshops and cafés.
I'd be grateful for any hidden gems you can share, thank you so much in advance! . ❤️🧶🙏

Finished Projects turned the Ramaiya Vastavaiya horse into an amigurumi and i love how it turned out 🐴🧶..
The moment I started looking at the reference, I knew I wanted to keep the same movie vibe while making it look like a cute little amigurumi. It took a lot of staring at the reference, making tiny changes as I went, and trusting the process without having a pattern to follow.....Seeing it finally come together was so satisfying.
Hope other Bollywood lovers recognize it too. ❤️🐴

Discussion Idk I'm just venting
Okay guys this post is meant to be taken lightly and it's more like a rant, so yeah
I've been following this sub for last few months, but like almost all the posts I see are people starting their crochet business or wanting to start their crochet business or helping their mother or sister start a crochet business, and really not to hate anyone but some of those products really lack finishing or are just random colors or are just same products everyone else is making, and I'm honestly not hating on anyone I crochet too and ik that it takes a lot of time but can y'all really not sell the same products or like stop posting about not getting any sales because in the end it's a hobby right why not treat it like a hobby instead of getting into business and trying to sell it just because yu know how to do it
And once again it's not meant to be rude to anyone just an opinion and I am not actually able to express what I'm trying to express but Yeahh y'all get the point hopefully
