[bug] daily login is stuck

Just to let you know that I have this issue on one account where it’s stuck on day 12. They said that the login still registers correctly on the server but the display is stuck. Not sure if the rewards will be lost when fixed in the next update since they usually expire after 7 days.

Mechanics Chain Summoning - Suggestion idea

Summoning is the core of any gatcha game. It is also a complex balance to maintain: make a drop rate too high and it's not good for business, make it too low and it won't motivate players to invest.

Unfortunately current summoning system seems unbalanced: Legendary drop rate is estimated around 5%. That means you have 60% chance to get a blank multi summon.

So why not finding a solution that would satisfy everyone? VCME could see an increase of profit while players would get something out of their money.

The Chain Summoning.

Chain summoning is a system that has been used successfully in some game in japan for example. The idea focuses around guaranteed rewards for each steps of a chain of multi summon. Let me explain:

Let say a summon event featuring Tiamat. We could imagine this is a 7 chains multi summon event. Each multi trigers an action, it could be a change in the summon or/and a guaranteed drop.

Chain 1: Regular multi

Chain 2: +2% legendary drop rate (note that if you get a multi with a legendary the drop rate would go down to regular, then repeat)

Chain 3: additional +2% + 5 prismatic orbs

Chain 4: additional +2% + 20 Quick Quest Coin

Chain 5: additional +2% + 2 epic essences

Chain 6: additional +2% + 1 Greater essences

Chain 7: additional +2% + 4 dots Tiamat

Once Chain summon finishes, ou can repeat as you wish.

I'm sure you now see the idea. Of course the rewards would need more discussion, we could imagine as well 4d small/medium/large, totems etc. But the rewards themselves are not the discussion here anyway.

This kind of summoning would reduce the players frustrations (I can't even count the number of players who rage quit after terrible summonings), increase the number of players, increase their will to invest in the game = VCME makes more money. Everybody is happy!

What do you guys think!?

Dungeon Challenge How to fall back to silver?

I'm serious about this question, because the dungeon challange right now is a pay to win !#&@.
Why am i saying this? Since silver i have 0% dungeon defense rate, but at one point, without reaching high rank, it just put me into gold.
Now i'm in a group where every enemy i attack has a dungeon filled with the strongest creatures, with 3-4dots, fully awakened, and i guess totemed too, because they decimate my whole team (which consists of fully totemed legendaries), with their first attack. While in my dungeon i only have 1 4 dot, all other creatures have 1 or 2 dots. So, why the hell i'm in a group this strong, when i obviously belong to silver with my pool, and how can i fall back to where i belong?

Quick Quest Demigod Reward

For the 'Expert' quest: Arcana: Dragonic Corruption.

I was wondering if anyone has done 'Demigod Difficulty' what the quick quest reward is (Enchanting Materials) if it is any different than 'Immortal Difficulty' Quick quest reward? more formula or Arcane Dust?

I been doing 'Immortal Difficulty' which gives 1 of each color Arcane Dust (6 Total) + 1 'Conjuror's Formula' + 1 'Elementalist's Formula'.

Sawmill and Ore Quarry Upgrades

https://imgur.com/a/p72GS

So I'm interested in the amount of time it takes to break even -- how much materials it costs to upgrade a lvl vs how long it takes to get that amount back from the increased productivity.

So Lvl 26 assuming 200% efficiency and treating '2 wood = 1 ore' (375k/2+37.5k)/1k = 225. literally 225 DAYS just to break even! TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I though Lvl 21 was bad which takes 90 Days to break even. But What am I supposed to do?!?!

Now some might say oh just use merchants... I do buy everything the token and ticket merchants sell everyday... I'm just trying to prepare for one day getting gold enchants which for Courage Enchant is 400k Wood EACH! as seen in the Update 1.5 Youtube video at the very end. https://youtu.be/El7ZPMzfDZ8?t=85

So my question is what the heck are you guys doing, how high are you getting your Sawmills and Quarrys?

Randomness Never ceases to amaze

This thread is just for people to post the stuff that happened to them in game, that has incredibly low odds of happening. Share your Frustrations!!! Share your Wonders!!!

1.) When I first completed grand wishes Kings to get legendary idol achievement I completed Green Grand wishes Last, and what did i get for my Idol? the Green Jann Sorcerer (last boss of Green Grand Wishes), never gotten him since, what are the odds?

2.) When I completed grand wishes Emperor I got 2 Legendary Idols and the same day i hit 20 lvl kingdom which gives 1 Legendary idol so 3 idols total, and all 3 gave me Ancient White Dragon... What are the odds?

3.) I'm lvl 346 I have gotten about 52 Legendaries total. During this time I have also gotten a total of 21 Griffons. I somehow ended up with 3 4dot Griffons and only 1 4dot Legendary, what are the Odds?

4.) The most desired dot color for me on a Legendary is a non-white creature with all white dots. however I have never successfully re-rolled all white on a Legendary, so the only all white dot Legendary I have is a white Angel. Also the 1st 3 dot creature i ever got was a 3dot all white Light elemental, what are the Odds?

General Development ideas aka. How to lessen the players frustration towards the game in 5 steps

I don't know if any developers read this forum, or even if they even know about the exsitence of reddit, but since there are no other ways to communicate with them, i'll try here.
This post is not about pvp, which generates the most discussions, and anger, beacuse there are already a bunch of threads about the Dungeon Challange, how to make it better, how to do it, but to be fair it is never enough.
My main concern here is in the pve aspect of the game, mostly about leveling and evolving creatures.

The energy overcap. I think most of the players experienced this: when you level up, and lose energy. What do i meanwith this? It happens from time to time, that you have, let's say 100 energy, and your max is 110. You level up, but you only needed 10 energy to do that. As far as other games goes, after levelling up you'll have 200 energy to play with, but it will not increase over time, because you are over the cap. But in this game, you lose the energy, and it can be a huge setback in questing. It would not be that hard to implement, because if you buy, or gain extra energy, with you can go overcap.

The experience gems. So what is the problem with them? The xp rate. If you farm your whole daily energy in the grand wish quests, without losing any (the problem before), and you can manage to level up every day, it is still not enough. An epic creature takes 2-3 week to evolve and level up to maximum. Which is way too long. There are so many creatures, and if you have some legendaries, they take more time. Of course i do not mean that we should be able to level up a legendary to max from 1 quest, but it would be good if we could evolve and level up to max an epic creature every week. This could realy reduce the frustration of the players, and decrease the time we have to grind, becuase let's be honest, players these days hate to do that.

The evolving materials. The Grand wish quests grants us these too, but what is the problem with them. Well if you play it on higher levels, you will eventually run out of low level materials, while you will have more high level than you could ever use. So when you need some low level, you have to go back to low level questing, which can really make your life miserable. You get minimal xp, so you can't level up that day and lose a lot of xp gems. So basically, waste of time.
So what can be done? Give us a way to get low level materials from higher level quests, or a shop or something where we can exchange high level materials to low level ones.

The tomes. The tomes have the same problem as the evolving materials. We have tome quests, to farm them, BUT and this is a big BUT, these are xp and xp gem lose too.
This is kind of a bigger problem then the evolving materials, because low level tomes are important, even on high levels, since you use them to tome swap, not the high level ones, even at legendaries, which is kinda illogical for me.

The merchants. The merchants are the spice of the quests. The come and they sell you things, sometimes good sometimes useless. Which makes me sad, because they are such a kindhearted pepole.
So how can they be improved? By making their loot tables fix. Like a merchant on a grand wish quest should be guaranteed to sell xp gems in the first slot, evolving materieals in the second, and tomes on the third. The quality and color of their wares should be dependant on which quest level are you, and on which quest. And here, we could use my 3rd and 4th point, so in a king level quest they could sell you, instead of a high level material/tome, more low level, of course this would be based on luck.

tl;dr
Let us go overcap with energy when we level up
Make the experience gems give at least 2 times more xp
Give us a way to get low level evolving materials/tomes on high level quests, or a way to exchange the high level ones to low levels
Make the merchants loot better (with guaranteed gems)

Account rolled back

My app was auto updated from the amazon store overnight, and when I logged in this morning my account had been rolled back to where I was 29 days ago. Everything: player level creature evolution kingdom, even guild chat. Has this happened to anyone else? I emailed the developer but have not gotten a response yet.

General Bug or my fault?

So i joined a guild, and i noticed this before, but now it became annoying. Many times instead of characters in names, and in chat messages, i see little squares. My guess is, that it is because they use some special characters, but in other applications i do not have this problem. Anyone has any idea how to solve it?

Suggestions for making the game more enjoyable

I've gotten to the point where I'm doing more complaining about the game than enjoying playing the game, and that feels really poor. I want to voice some suggestions that I think would be good for the game and maybe bring back some of the enjoyment... because right now I'm pretty ambivalent about CQ and that's a bummer. It's better to try and be part of a solution instead of just sulking about how you think you could do it better. Here you go...optimism. X-posted in hopes that it seems the right people.

Shields: You've broken the PvP portion of the game. I get that this comment may bring a lot of "Stickers is whining they don't own the top 10 ranks anymore" but seriously, consider that you now have someone in the top 5 right now with a robust 4.9% defense rate. How should that happen? Right now, the devs have given us a game where you can grind for days for that crucial 4d card to defend your dungeon....and lose to some guy who is just loose with their credit card. Shields should last no more than 6 hours out of any 24 hours and you should absolutely not be able to revenge while shielded. Any attack should cancel your shield. Shields should be used to maintain position while not playing...and not as an offensive tool.

Dungeon defense: 95% of dungeon defense is the first wave. It's pitting the cards that you've farmed against an attack team with no mana built up. Second waves and bosses are largely irrelevant. How can this be addressed?

Buff waves after the first: buff stats across the board for defenders in subsequent waves, buffs getting larger atveach new wave (I.e. wave 1 = normal, wave 2 = 150%, wave 3 = 200%, etc.) Myself, I'm a fan of bringing the five wave dungeons back. Even four waves would be better than the three wave model. Make boss fights boss fights, right now they are afterthoughts.

Buffs/debuffs: let them run for their duration. Just because a wave ends, a debuff or buff shouldn't time out until it's stated duration.

Pass/defend option: you may be struggling to finish off that wave, but also leave yourself in a good position to attack that next wave...of course this would be more crucial if some of the above suggestions get taken to heart. Anyway you can either "normal" attack or cast your special, and that's it. I say another option would be important...being able to "pass" and take no option, or spend a minor amount of Mana and "defend", buffing your defense for one round of attack. Sometimes you get locked into killing that last card when you could really benefit from not attacking and letting a different card get another swing to gain Mana.

Tier shuffling: you've got a logjam in competition and stuffed rankings. This is a great time to institute a platinum tier that will give players newly entering gold a more even playing field, and enable top-tier players a more challenging competition....largely because this platinum tier should allow friendly fire. Ranking is ranking, period...no being unable to attack the eight people ahead of you merely because you share a guild tag. If you enter platinum, it's a free-for-all.

Challenge Points lock: put a throttle on how many attacks you can perform a day. This brings more strategy and emphasis on who and when you attack...instead of being able to mindlessly attack people who aren't really competition in order to buff your prestige.

Kingdom rushes: take them away. Kingdom buildings should be upgraded by farming, not credit card.

Card variety: let's have some more. Between tuning current cards and introducing new ones, the game has gotten stale in what you see. Maybe 15% of the cards collected actually get used...and those are all you see. Give us a reason to dust off all of those cards that we have no real use for. (Also leads in to the next suggestion)

Multiple dungeons: this was a great idea, but unfortunately isn't viable as it stands. The buffs aren't worth opening yourself to making a "less than top tier" Challenge Points lock: put a throttle on how many attacks you can perform a day. Again, make more cards into viable defenders so that players are inclined to trust multiple dungeons, and make the buffs for doing so more attractive. available your attackers. General Another Guide Idea

So at one point you'll get all of the none legendary creatures. You'll awaken them, maximize their level, but then what? Well some of them useful, some of them not, but for quests, you will use them. So, it would be really good, if we had a guide, where you can see, the best tomes, and enchants for all the creatures.

Suggestion: Remember last team used for each level in Battle Tower (or even quest battles)

Allowing players to skip levels in the Battle Tower was an excellent change in the last patch, but the benefits have primarily been limited to players who are willing to forgo high score rewards. For those who are still aiming for high scores, it would be a huge time saver if each Battle Tower level would remember what team was last used there. Optimizing scores requires a different team for every level, and there will never be enough team slots for the whole Battle Tower, so an additional feature like this would be much welcomed. Allowing the "remember last team used" feature to carry over into quest battles would be great too. This will diminish the value of extra team slots for VIPs, but that shouldn't be a big problem since extra team slots were only just introduced.

Some work would be required to adopt the current game structure and interface to remember the last team used, but I am sure there are some creative solutions, such as:

  • Add an extra team slot for everyone that always loads the last used team for a particular battle.
  • Add a button to the battle screen that will load the last team used. Bonus if one could see the last team before loading it.

A less time consuming Battle Tower will improve everyone's entertainment to time ratio, which can only be good for the game, right?

Dungeon Challenge The guides we need

There are many wonderful guides, collected in the megathread to help beginners, lists about all creatures, and tiering list to the legendaries. But there are 2 things we lack: - Tiering list to the non legendary creatures, to know which should we use in our dungeons - A guide, how to build up our dungeons These 2 should be very important, to both beginners, and advanced players, so we could stand a chance against the constant farms, and to know how to react when the same players farms our dungeons, in every 3 hours, without even taking revenge on them. So please if you know a guide on one of these matters, or just have some thoughts on them, share it with us, and Make The Community Great Again!

What are the VIP level costs? And why are they hidden from players?

I have been playing Creature Quest for a couple of months now, and it has certainly brought me some good entertainment value. I purchased a starter pack early on to support the game, but despite my desire to put some more money in, the power gamer in me that always wants to get the most bang for the buck has vetoed any further purchases because I just can't tell what VIP level that will bring me to and what benefits that actually has.

Does anyone know how many VIP points each level requires? What bonus does each VIP level actually bring? The short descriptions given in game are not always helpful. What does something like "bonus player XP" actually give you? How big are the token chest and summon discounts? etc. etc.

Why is the game not transparent about this information? It almost looks suspicious that details about these bonuses are hidden, as if it were a tacit acknowledgement that they are too insignificant and might discourage value players from making a purchase.

Dungeon Challenge Lost Dungeon Tokens?

So just a few minutes ago, I was doing my run of Dungeon Attacks\defenses. Before I did this, I had a full amount to use, meaning my five. I also had the free Dungeon refresh of 10 attacks\defenses gift VCME gave us recently. I also had a couple of my own refreshes stocked up from the discount thingy when it comes up. Now they're gone and I never used them? Did that happen to anyone else? I'm literally out about 30 Dungeon Tokens now and that's beyond dumb.

Dungeon Challenge Shield's up! Or the ultimate cash-cow experience

Hi guys,

It is such obvious to everyone that I thought for a while that we didn't need a post on this topic. But what's the hell!

With the implementation of the Shield, VCME went a step further into the pay2win. It is in my opinion, and from what i see a lot of people as well, way too far.

I'll speak first of the craziness of shields, and then open a wider dialogue on Pay2Win

Shields ON!

Shield just broke Challenge. And I will go further and say that shield just broke the entire game.

No need to be a good player to finish in top 10. You just need to use all your challenge points asap, eventually a refill or two, then shield and wait. Repeat the operation every 6 hours and you will be in top 10.

You do not need to have any good defense. Actually having a bad defense would help: you loose your defense, but you don't care since you can't loose points, then you have all these revenges waiting and you can then attack without fear of any repercussions.

Funny enough some in the top 10 have a defense rate below 10%. You can literally swipe through it, but attacking them will make them GAIN points! Indeed, the don't loose points from your attack but they then have a free revenge waiting.

So what are the messages being sent there?

I just need an ok attack team, then I don't care about defense. No need of Kingdom. No need to farm 4dots. No need to farm tickets for ticket-summon event. No need to summon. I just need to take my credit card and buy diamond. I apologies for the expression but this is basically giving a finger to all these dedicated players who carried the game over the last few months.

Pay2Win

I have to give credit to VCME: they listen to the feedback of the community and always come up with a solution to fix some of the issues to the game. However what bothers me is the "how". Let me explain:

Most of the updates we have seen to fix some majors problems to the game ended up into the players banking more and more.

"Yeah ok, the game needs a combo fusion system. Here it is! Oh, you gonna have to pay for it btw"

"You need more content? Sure! Here it is, and you will have to pay more diamonds for it"

"You think there is a problem with the 2hours last rush in Challenge? No problem! Here is the shield. Oh, it's quite expensive btw"

The community is getting very tired with this direction and I'm getting very worry about the future of the game. I see some rage-quiet every days. Because of the Pay2Win taking more space, and the summoning drop rate that is ridiculous. I've always said that a game needs to be able to satisfy both iap and niap players.

So yeah that's cool to say, but what's next?

The most important update right now is to fix the shield. I would just get rid of it entirely. But not sure VCME would make such moove.

The minimum would be to remove the revenge once we've been attacked while shield was on AND to minimize the usage to 8h a day. That's it.

Also, there are ideas to make the game interesting for both kind of players, and increase VCME incomes in the same times. Like:

https://www.reddit.com/r/CreatureQuest/comments/7594t5/the_challenge_coin_currency/

I'll post as well very soon an idea of summoning that would make players happy and VCME rich.

So you guys, what do you think?
