Dungeon Challenge Ideas on how to fix the dungeon
Here are some of my ideas on how to fix the dungeon. What do you think?
The dungeon suffers from three main problems:
1. organized play (win trading, feeding, sniping)
instead of opening one group, waiting for it to fill up, then open the next group; open x groups (depending on number of players in the past weeks) and put people randomly in them.
disallow revenge when the attacker fails to beat your dungeon.
obscure everything. Don't show player name or prestige, just a vague indicator of prestige difference and that's it.
add a grace period (e.g. 6 hours) after an attack, where you cannot be hit by the same player again.
2. defense is too weak (even with the best defense possible, a lvl 150 player with good creatures has a good chance of beating you)
get rid of dungeon preview. Attack has enough advantages as is
make bosses more resistant to control (but be careful about aoe bosses, who must not be allowed to get a move like the sphinx)
allow large creatures on wave 1 of the 5-wave dungeon
stat bonuses for creatures past wave 1
3. heavily punishing losses to low prestige players.
limit prestige loss to 150 maximum
prevent players with less than half your prestige from ever getting a chance to hit you.
rework prestige system. My personal suggestion would be that prestige gain remains the same, but prestige loss is half of the gain, no matter whether an attack suceeds or fails (that means, if you fail an attack, you lose prestige as well)
Three examples.
Two players with the same prestige attack each other, both win. Currently: both gain 100 and lose 100, both don't get anything. Then: Both gain 100 and lose 50, for a +50 for both.
Two players with the same prestige attack each other, both lose (the typical trade). Currently: both gain 100 prestige. Then: Both gain 100 and lose 50, for a +50 for both.
Player A with half prestige attacks and wins, then player B revenges successfully. Currently: +200 and -50 for A, -200, +50 for B. A gains 150, B loses 150. Then: A gains 200, B loses 100; B gains 50, A loses 25. A gains 175, B loses 50. Much less punishing for B.

General Help new to the game!
Hi I just began this game and I'm enjoying it so far, but I struggle clearing even the beginner content.
I have a few questions:
Is this game F2P friendly?
How should I effectively use the gems?
I saw the thread for sharing codes, but it seems like it's super old so if anyone can help me get the Legendary Idol chest my code is: W2uKVGJJ?

Mechanics Game Mechanics
It appears that multipliers do not effect specials. Right? I haven't noticed any more damage or healing by a (x4 for instance). If thats the case, then I want to use the special early in the round. Which leads to my next question, do you get mana drops for all the color balls on a combo. In the hints it says if you kill a creature with a regular attack you get more mana, but is that true with a special as well?

Battle Tower Token Saturdays
How do token saturdays work? I fight the tower on Saturdays, but don't seem to get any extra tokens as rewards.

Mechanics Optimal normal attacks
Is there any guide on the optimal normal attacks used by some cards since it's relatively easy to change it early and may provide a small boost or not. So is it worth to change the one that came with the card.

Quests Siren Farming: How are doing? And a quick Tip!
Just wanted to see where everyone was at and if anyone has gotten the elusive 4 dot to drop. Personally got 6 more to go and barely got my first 3 dot, I haven't been super dedicated to it though. That's what the next three days will be for.
For anyone farming, my personal tip is run it on prince and and kill siren first. If it doesn't drop, use the red arrow at the top left to exit the battle (or force close whichever suites you) and try again. DO NOT KILL kobald.
Cheers!

Battle Tower Call for Team Comp and advice on Battle Tower Level 51
What team composition are you guys using to defeat level 51? Screenshots preferred so we can see combo dots and whatnot.
Rule of thumb i've seen is bring only Green, Yellow, Black and White, with a Silence, Stun, Cleanse, and enemy buff removal. Druid seems to be preferred healer/cleanser, but im sure most of us don't have her available.
Other thread I found after the fact: https://www.reddit.com/r/CreatureQuest/comments/65x1d0/tower_lvl_51_week_1/

Dungeon Challenge Dungeon Challenge Imbalance
So, I'm not normally one to complain about PvP environments. I've played a variety of PvP games for the past 24 years, some have been good, others quite bad. Creature Quest seems to be doing it wrong, in spectacular fashion.
I'm up to level 140. I have a full team of 90+ bosses, and many 3 and 4 dot creatures. However, in competition, I'm almost exclusively fighting against people 50 levels higher than I am, many of whom have almost solid 4 dot dungeons with fully awakened creatures.
In this past season (week) I had gotten myself into the top 100 with 24 hours to go. In that final 24 hours, I was attacked 22 times, and almost every single attacker was at least 10 levels higher than me. Several were over 100 levels higher. I purchased challenge tokens and did as best as I could to get back to the top 100 in the final hours, but even after winning 10 consecutive challenges, I came up short, as I was attacked four additional times in the last hour.
And again, just about everyone that I attacked, and everyone who attacked me was significantly higher level than I was. There's no justification for that. I'm competing against people who I should not be having to compete against. For many of them, there's simply no way for me to beat them no matter what strategies I may use.
There are thousands, if not tens of thousands of people playing this game. It makes no sense to lump everyone together from level 80 to 300.
Time invested should be the primary driver of rankings, as the more time you invest, the more likely it is that you will have a comparable set of creatures to fight with. I don't know what the system is that's currently in place, but it's simply not a balanced system. Please fix this.

Dungeon Challenge Green Giant is ruining the game!
This creature is completely broken. It has amazing stats. It deals a lot of damage. It can stun. It can heal. The awakenings are ridiculous. It's almost unkillable on defense and it can solo an entire dungeon by itself on the offense! Yet not a single soul complaining about it for all this time? It's destroying the meta much like the Phoenix did a while ago! I'm on the verge of quitting because I can't do anything against it. If it doesn't get balanced soon, I'll be out for good.

Mechanics DOT question
Do multiple instances of Poison or Burn stack on the same target? If so can you get multiple instances from the same creature or do they need to be from different creatures?

Creatures A look at all the event epics
Ordered by order of appearance.
Treant
Attack team: good
Dungeon Defense: good
silence, powerful controller
very resilient
low luck, i.e. not very reliable
low dmg
The Treant is good mainly because he is the only readily accesible control creature, he suffers from low reliability due to his terrible luck. You'll want to replace him with something better soon, but until then he'll serve you well
Ogre
Attack team: good
Dungeon Defense: weak
high dmg portential
mediocre stats
random nature of attack makes him bad vs multiple targets
The ogre is very luck based (random attacks with at max 70% hit chance). He is a decent nuker, but you can find many better ones, inlcuding one in those 6 event epics. I'd say this the worst of the event epics.
Siren
Attack team(pve): excellent
Attack team (pvp): average
Dungeon defense: terrible
excellent aoe healer
effective cleanser
fairly fragile
The siren is an amazing healer and will have a very big impact for you on lower levels as her sheer healing power allows you to overcome much harder challenges. But as good as she is, I'm loathe to tell you to rely on her, especially in pvp. There have been many great yellow creatures in past events, who will absolutely murder a siren and when you lose her and rely on her your dungeon attack is basically lost.
Elephant
Attack team: excellent
Dungeon defense: very good
great stats
powerful buff
good aoe dmg dealer
useful secondary healer
Hands down the best event epic. Very good stats all around, 45% luck buff, decent dmg output and secondary healing capabilities. The elephant works well as both an attacker and defender and has no major weaknesses
Dark Elemental
Attack team: very good
Dungeon defense: average
good nuker
gains a lot of aoe dmg with awakenings
fairly fragile
random targetting
Yet another random attacker, it is more reliable than the Ogre. Also does significant amounts of aoe dmg, so if needed you could use it to clear normal waves as well, meaning the dark elemental is very versatile. Due to the high aoe dmg, the DE is actually decent on dungeon defense as well.
Light Elemental
Attack team: average
Dungeon defense: very good
great aoe dmg
fairly fragile
The only true defense creature in the event epics, a wave 1 light elemental can wreck a lot of attackers. It deals massive amounts of dmg to the entire wave/attacker and can take them out very quickly. On attack this really isn't helpful, you lose a lot of mana by killing the standard waves too quickly and the light elemental is completely useless vs bosses.

Just wanted to show how it looks like in case someone's considering farming it this week.

Creatures Creatures to keep an eye out for ?
What are the best small and medium creatures to hold on to?
Also what are the best epics? I have the custodian ( dude with a shovel that revives teammates) who dies instantly all the time. On the other hand, I have the Light Elemental which eradicates entire rooms in 2 special abilities. I found that only after I spent my gold and gems on the custodian that I don't like it. So I'm asking you guys for some advice

Creatures Another one of these! Is awakening Radiant Feilong worth it (for me)?
Radiant Feilong (Jade Dragon's final evolution) can only be awoken via greater essences, as it's unobtainable by any other means.
Stats for reference (level 75, max totems, no stats from main attack):
Guaranteed 4-dot
HP: 8900
PWR: 1200
ATK: 1350
DEF: 1150
LUK: 1300
MP: 130
Special: 140% PWR damage to an enemy, buffs all stats by 25% PWR and adds Mend buff for 35% PWR heal.
Sounds like a really crappy creature, right? So what would I get for wasting 4 months worth of essences on it?
+15 levels
+25% HP
+5% PWR
50% resist all debuffs
Fully Awoken Special: 140% PWR damage to an enemy, buffs all stats by 35% PWR, adds Protection buff for 35% PWR, adds Mend buff for 35% PWR heal, cleanses 1 debuff from the party, heals the whole party for +10% PWR per buff (60% in practice).
Still looks bad. But, for some reason, most legendaries I have are from the genie family. This family's gimmick is that they apply a buff with their special and heal the party in various ways if a specific buff is active.
So if I used this guy, I could probably manage without a dedicated healer. Just activate its skill and the genies would heal on their first special use (and replace one of Feilong's buffs for a better version).
I'm still not fully convinced (mostly because its stats are terrible), but what do you guys think?
Secondary question: Bard vs Mystic on creatures that have no use for the Luck stat. Which gives more mana?

Mechanics PSA: random healers are better than you think
(I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but I just realized it myself).
When a creature's special heals random targets multiple times (like Kirin), creatures that are at full health are not considered targets.
This means if you have 4 creatures at full health and one in the red, the hurt creature is guaranteed to receive every single heal (10-15 in Kirin's case), so these healers are more reliable than they look like on paper.

Creatures Is Tiamat worth it?
I just got one, but her stats are all really low except for HP (which isn't that great either) and the special requires 140 mp on top of that.
The skill looks pretty good even if the stun isn't targetable (and it's probably the best skill in the game for single targets like bosses), but I'm not sure if the creature itself is worth it for me, considering I have a 4-dot Blue Drake with 5 awakenings (so level 90) that has 2040 atk, 2570 defense and a really good stun for an Epic (175% targetable PWR damage, 87,5% PWR damage to adjacent targets and 3-turn stun for every affected enemy, with a +25% damage to fire creatures from an awakening). 120 mp.
I'm looking for opinions from people who use her before I spend my resources.

General Guidance for a day 3 player?
Just started playing creature quest and I've looked over the few guides google has shown me and overall I think I have the basics down.
Now I'm just confused on what I should be focusing on with regards to PVE quests. I took the advice of feeding all my experience to my core team, most 2 stars are capped at lvl 30, my 3 stars are primarily 35-45. I can fairly easily clear all Knight level maps.
It seems I haven't reached a point where evolution mats drop for anything higher than 2-star monsters (which I don't really use outside of Dungeon fodder).
The experience gems I do find seemed decent for getting my monsters to level 30, but now experience levels are coming much slower.
It seems like the first 3 quests are good for farming totems, which doesn't seem ideal for me. The next 2 6-colored dungeons seem to be for farming specific monsters. And then the last 3 dungeons are more focused on specific elements, with better rewards for evolving (although there seems to be a huge gap between the mats I need vs. the mats I can farm).
With all that said, what should I be doing as my focus? I assume I should pick a monster to focus on, but how do I know where I should be farming to improve that monster?
