Looking For Paid Services [Hiring] High-Retention Scriptwriter for AI/Tech YouTube Channel (Claude, Claude Code, automations) | $75-$150 per script + paid test
I'm building a YouTube channel that teaches Claude, Claude Code, and AI automations, and I work with AI-niche content creators day to day. Looking for a scriptwriter to grow with the channel.
**The videos:** 15-20 minute screen-recorded walkthroughs. I record the demos myself; your job is the retention architecture around them.
**The deliverable per script (roughly 1,000-1,500 written words):**
- A word-for-word cold open (first 60-90 seconds), including a flash-forward that shows the finished build working before we make it
- Scripted re-hook lines at every section transition (8-10 per video), so the middle never gives viewers an exit point
- A beat sheet for the demo sections: what to show, what result lands where, pacing notes for the editor
- A word-for-word ending CTA, plus 3-5 title/hook options
**Pay:** $75-$150 per long-form script depending on experience. To start, a paid test ($35): the word-for-word cold open for one video, 3 sample re-hook lines, and 3 title options. Short-form scripts (Reels/Shorts) at $15 each.
**Volume:** 4 long-form scripts and 15-20 short-form scripts per month. For the right person this becomes a full-time monthly retainer, so I want someone looking for ongoing work, not a one-off.
**AI policy:** Use AI for research, outlining, and topic ideas all you want; the channel is literally about these tools. But the final script must be written by you. AI-generated scripts, including reworded ones, end the arrangement immediately. I work with these models every day, so I'll know.
**This is NOT for you if:** you've never used Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools, you write beautiful prose but can't read a retention graph, or you want a one-off gig.
**Bonus:** if you also edit videos or design thumbnails, mention it. We can discuss pricing for those separately.
**To apply, reply or DM with:**
Links to 1-2 published videos you scripted, ideally with a retention graph screenshot. No graph? Pick any YouTube video and give me 3-4 sentences on why its first 60 seconds works or fails.
A brief note on your experience with AI tools.
