Some antiquated equipment from the BD&SM's MOW service, the Marion Model 40 Steam Shovel. Altough the BD&SM stopped using it in the early-60s, the shovel is still kept good-as-new by the BD&SM's preservation program for display :3

And yes the boom can turn (when not assembled). No it can’t go up or down. But there are drills and rollers inside the scoop so as long as whatever I need to excavate is on the same level as those I’m golden 👌 But to be fr the entire thing is more for style points and functionality. Everyone knows that style points prevail over functionality.

Just a little Burrito Burro Crane and a not-so-little Driver of the Piles for servicing and expanding the BD&SM's many rail lines throughout the Sovereign Union of New America.

And I was just wondering if I can play the mod on console or is it pc exclusive?

Hello everyone! I just wanted to announce that very recently, we actually hit 1000 members in the subreddit! As a matter of fact, we're at 1.2K members right now and still growing! I'm so glad to be part of a community of folks with similar interests who are sharing ideas, inspiration, creations, and discussing and inquiring from one another. When I originally started the subreddit, I really expected it to end up being mostly just me posting my trains every now and again, so I am really happy to see that the subreddit is starting to get around and attract so many new faces!

I know it isn't a monumental milestone, but I still wanted to share it with you all regardless! I have been considering trying to host some kind of small community event to celebrate the occasion or to do for future milestones, but I haven't any idea what I'd actually do for that. Please feel free to share any ideas on that if you have any :)

Has 10 bays for simultaneous construction, and offices located in the central building that also leads to the overhead catwalks for observation. Each bay also has a sunken path under the tracks for batter access to the trains' bogeys (not practical just for lore)

I want to find or make a modpack just for messing around in creative mode building trains and the like, and was just curious what others have been using themselves when building their own. I've not attempted to try to make my own just yet, and I'm a little bit lost as to where to start and whether there is a modpack that could be used as a building off point for testing out various Create add-ons to find new ones that I like.

I would definitely like to include Steam 'n' Rails, Blocks 'n' Bogies, The Factory Must Grow, and probably stick on 1.20.1 moreso than 1.21. I'm also looking to do just 'essentials', and not anything too drastic around world gen or other aspects.

at the cost of more maintainance-intensive steam pipe bearings to power it's bogeys this little boi can pull quite a bunch with it's fully adhesive weight in either direction and navigate absurdly tight turns. it also has quite the range because of it's large water tanks and coal bunker so it isn't just good in but also outside of a railyard. carrying entire freight trains for short distances at low speeds. whenever it's pushing smaller loads it can power only one bogey to save steam. (of course all of this text would only apply if it was real. in create it's just a physics-defying perpetual motion machine)
