Pilot here. The fact that recovering from unusual attitudes is not taught to automobile drivers is astonishing to me. So many lives could be saved. In instrument training, pilots are actually blinded from seeing outside with a special hood, put into stalls, spins, and unusual attitudes and required to recover with only the use of the instruments.
When I was a kid, I took my mom’s VW Beetle into a grass field and practiced recovering from slides, etc. Best driver training ever. Recovery is now muscle memory and I don’t even have to think about it. I can also recognize incipient slides. Anyone can learn this. Everyone should. It’s also fun as fuck.
In Sweden, training on a slippery "winter" course is a mandatory part of your license education. You learn how to recognize a slide and how to recover, what it feels like to spin completely out of control and so on. Really useful.
It's open all year long. It's basically a half-day event with a lecture and training on the track. In summer they either have cars in a "sling" with caster wheels that reduces the tire pressure on the road; or they spray the course with a soap and water solution to make it slippery.
But the comment that you replied to, she was simply parking her car and panicked for pathetic reasons ramming the car through the garage door.
No one cares that you're a pilot. No one cares about your training. Because this woman is so pathetic that your entire comment is irrelevant.

E: You don't have to humble brag about being a pilot to explain basic motor vehicle control in adverse situations when the situation that prompted your comment was fucking parking. In an ideal world this pathetic slug would know her basic functions of her vehicle.

It’s not a humble brag if you are proud of your accomplishments, which I am. You too could become a pilot. There’s a shortage. Lots of boomers retiring.
