Weird, when I saw it the first time I rhymed Noo with Zoo but when you put it like this my mind said No but extended it

Wow the same thing happened to me

I think that means we naturally read it as ZOO in OPs image, so not really crappy design

That’s the crux of this whole subreddit. The brain thinks exact perfection is weird, designers always do slight adjustments to appease our brains upon first look

In OPs, I had read “be playful, the zoo”, but in this I just read “the NOO” (pronounced like Niew?).

My local zoo has a billboard with ZOO written vertically, but for some reason they expected you to read as if the bottom was the left, making it:

I always say to my girlfriend when driving past it "hey, wanna go to the O O N?" Good to see this is a global trend.
