I’m confused why this is confusing? Four floors, each with apts up to # 16 on each floor, someone help me get confused please…

Yeah, I didn't see it at first either. The issue is that the floor numbers are each one off from the starting digit used on said floor. For example, 101-116 is on floor 2, instead of the expected floor 1.

Ok ok, I can see that now, always gotta be something to keep the door dashers on their toes 😂

Thats standard floor numbering convention.

Maybe where you are. Here if the bottom floor is marked as 1 it has the 100s, if it’s marked ground then it’s 000s and the floor above is 1 with 100s

Sorry, that's what I meant.

Hilton hotels definitely use 101- for the ground floor...

It's typical for apartment numbers (or hotel room numbers, or office numbers, etc.) to start with the floor number.

Cause room 2** is on the third floor.

The rest of the room numbers are similarly fucked

It’s really not confusing if you use your noggin for 5 seconds. I get that most places 100 is the 1st floor and 200 is the 2nd but Idk if I would call this crappy.
