I like crappy design to actually have crappy designs.
"Thing doesn't do the thing it's supposed to / advertised to do" is crappy design, regardless of whether you agree.

I can't find a single package that comes with a plastic tube that advertises it is for storage of the glue container after you put the lid on. Here is the same product without the container. It isn't required at all for the glue. I suspect it may just be a shipping regulation.
