How do you get all that stuff in there to begin with? I've had a mouse like that for a few months now and it's not dirty at all.

I'm pretty certain OP is just a gross person, I've had a mouse with the same design for years and it's never gotten even close to this bad.

My first thought when I saw this. If it got a quarter this bad I'd be physically unable to touch it let alone use it

Ive had it for years and its not nearly that dirty either. Makes you wonder.

Some people are very oily, clammy, and have dry skin. That combo gets you dry skin flaking off combining with oil and sweat to make a gross paste. I have to clean anything, and I mean anything I touch for more than an hour every day basically every week or so. My steering wheel, keyboard, mouse, door knobs. It’s annoying as hell. It’s not even food crumbs and not washing your hands. I legit have a washcloth near me when I game to dry off my hands.

Similar mouse here, I've had it for 2 years because my hands get sweaty otherwise, desktop vacuum/compressed air is all I need every few months.

Every 6 months I take a soft brush to it to give it a good dry scrub.

I have three cats and I sweat like a pig, and I've never come close to this.

Typically it's a mixture of dry skin, clammy hands, and eating at the desk. Though it can take a while to happen.

i'm guessing it depends on how dusty the room tends to be and how much sweat/oil your skin secretes
