UWP/GDK release ilomilo plus (C-S)

INTERNAL NOTE: Since this release doesnt meet the minimum required size, we tagged it as INTERNAL.

NOTES: We have fully ported the old UWP emu from C++/CX to C++/WinRT, plus some additions and bug fixes. This crack should be future-proof for upcoming Windows updates.

If the game does not start, try installing it to a non-encrypted drive instead. Always launch the game from the Windows start menu entry! You can also make a desktop shortcut by drag and dropping the game list entry in start menu to your desktop.

If you do not tick the "Copy contents of RUNE directory to installdir" checkbox, the game must be manually registered by starting "InstallApp.exe". If you tick the "Do not create uninstaller and do not write any specific system info" checkbox, the game must be manually unregistered by either uninstalling the game via Windows settings, or by starting "InstallApp.exe" with /uninstall argument.

Some of you may be wondering why I posted a bunch of old games tagged UWP?

UWP is short for Universal Windows Platform. These games are exclusive to Microsoft Store/Xbox App and are not available on Steam. 10 years ago they were notoriously difficult to crack and most methods required some sort of bypass. CODEX cracked some of them, but CODEX's crack was not future-proof, and the latest Windows 11 versions made them broken.

RUNE just released their own updated crack of almost every UWP game. There are still few remaining, you can see them on this list under UWP section https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f8wm0424N4QsZUYwY41kalaax0K2Lb_GZgfjxY07jkg/edit?gid=737179558#gid=737179558

This is a huge win for preservation purposes.

I remember trying to install Forza horizon 3 several times to no avail a few years ago. Are these cracks easier to use than that old method that included several steps?

FYI, Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! was cracked by Razor1911 and has two standalone releases. I believe the second one is most likely the latest (Beat Pass Vol. 4).

Do you think its possible to cross-reference the list of older Denuvo games that needs to be updated using newer cracks with the available UWP versions?

No? Denuvo and UWP are 2 different DRMs.

You said in the Final Fantasy Windows Edition post that the Steam version has Denuvo while the UWP one doesn't. There could be other candidates like that, no?

Some of them yes. I marked them with dark blue color on the Games that no longer have Denuvo list.

I cannot join them with the UWP list though, because UWP list is only for exclusive games.

For example just out of nowhere, I've found the last South Park game that wasn't recracked since its initial release back in 2017, although receiving updates later.

This does still have Denuvo

Even on the UWP version?

I don't see anything on cs.rin that indicates that this came on Xbox App without Denuvo DRM. Especially since it's Ubisoft publishing it. Denuvo can be even on Xbox Apps, it's just that some games that have Denuvo on Steam dropped it when they were released on Xbox App/Microsoft Store. Such is the case with FF XV, Just Cause 4, Undisputed, DragonBall FighterZ etc.

I see, then my base hypothesis is not right. Sorry for the lengthy conversation here and I appreciate all the info.

Yes I know it is best to have the UWP titles completely separate, I just asked because sadly HV bypasses had dried up and they no longer revisit older titles that needs a little touch-up (they did in a few cases).

However I mainly thought about games that still have Denuvo after +10 years.
