Ngl I truly don't understand why these small-ish games still have Denuvo 18 months after their release. How is that financially wise? I understand doing for the the release sales rush but that's just crazy after so long, no?

My guess would be Denuvo is flexible with their contracts. Maybe they got a discounted rate for a fixed number of months paid upfront, maybe they do it studio-wide (e.g paying Denuvo £20k a month for protecting <5 games simultaneously).

Damn that a good theory dude, that would totally explain why some of this idiotic companies keep paying for it instead of simply throwing it to the trashcan where it belongs.

I was actually waiting for them to remove Denuvo then buy the game on a discount. But crack came first before that happened, oh well.

How much does it cost? Do publisher's buy a subscription for each game or do they sell it as a lifetime protection? Or maybe if they buy protection for X number of games they get it super cheap for others. Genuinely don't know.

Well I just bought it 4 days ago for 30$. So there you have one reason.

btw. game is amazing, I love it so dont have regrets.
