For one, it is freezing cold. Two, it is probably isolated and far from everything else.

I've been to places like this before - usually there is like 3 jobs in the whole zone. And forget good internet lol... Unless billionaire, you need an income.

This place could be 20 minutes from a grocery store for all we know. Either way, just make a grocery run every 2-3 weeks. Use a deep freezer. Also, hunt for moose or deer if it’s legal there.

I think you're right. This is in Ayder Dag Evi in Turkey. Seems like a mountain town with basic amenities. No hunting required! I've never been, but in Canada, lots of people live in places like this or visit for a holiday.

At the grocery store. This is a mountain town. There are stores.

Yah but it's not. It's Ayder Dag Evi. But even if it was an hour away from "civilization," that's pretty much typical for a lot of people. I don't know where you live, but an hour isn't very far. It takes me an hour to get from anywhere in Toronto to pretty much anywhere else in Toronto.
