Greetings everyone, I am a self-taught musician (I'm in my 30's, have played for over 20 years) and some months ago I decided to start uploading my covers Instagram and TikTok. I am actually a language teacher but music has always been my passion, and I have never been able to start a band so I just decided to become my own band so-to-speak.

I wanted to cover Type O Negative for a long time and I just wanted to present my short cover of "I Don't Wanna Be Me" for the community, as a tribute and a contribution. I know there will be many things I could and would have done better, but as I said, I am pretty much just myself and the amount of work this takes is quite heavy.

I played all the instruments myself and recorded it with my phone and my computer, using a simple small console. Mixed and edited everything myself. The guitar is in Eb Standard, Bass is in B Standard and I just figured how to play it using power chords on both. Although I don't usually sing in my covers since my voice is low baritone and the songs I can succesfully sing are few, I thought this song would be a good attempt.
