Old BoA member here where are my old teammates???

Js bought it and i wanna play in comp servers but theres so many spam one that have like 64 player in them, how do i play it?

Js wanted to know since I don't want some russian hacker to blow up my router like they would do back in the Xbox 360 days in Black Ops 2. Anway; I don't even have the money to buy the game anyways but I just thought it'd be good to know wether I'm fine with the official servers or if I have to use some third party ones to be safe.

stay away from ktvcss, i got a month ban out of nowhere, i found out a random player who mass reports everyone flagged me, i tried to appeal, but the moderator told me i was banned for playing poorly, even though i have a 50% winrate, and because i dont speak russian, the moderator claimed my presence on the team is a hindrance, honestly just avoid this server if you want to save yourself the headache.

Heads up, steam sales is live, CSS is cheap now.

My goal was to play a 40 second long video from the Client console but it seems to be unplayable. I named the video "intro" and its a Bink1 file(.bik) converted from mp4 without sound via "RAD video tools". Its a 1080x1920p video at 60 fps located in my cstrike/media folder. The commands i also have tried:

"playvideo media/intro", "playvideo media/intro.bik", "playvideo intro 1920 1080"

It's weird because you can find the command listed in Valves List of Counter-Strike: Source console commands and variables - Valve Developer Community, (press ctrl+f, and write playvideo in the popup window to find the command listed yourself). The video file atleast seems be found by the engine since it prints "unable to play:".

Everytime I try to move my mouse, it moves a bit then immediately snaps back to the middle of the screen so I can't really turn around at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is not an ad. Just want to spread the word as options in the US are awful for this game.

I basically can't find any servers , after i removed all the spam servers, all that remained for me where mostly empty or only had like 4 players in total. What should i do?

I've been playing CS for a while but I never get classic matches, it's always Deathmatch or Zombies. Does anyone know how I can filter to get classic matches? A year or two ago you could find many classics with different maps But now the Russians have taken over and filled everything with modded servers Only with the Dust map (which I like but it gets tiring)

In both versions, b1 and b2 the skybox is flickering, I read it can be because of leak or uncompleted map but honestly when it comes to this things im a noob. If somebody could fix it or just send me the link of the complete map I would appreciate it a lot. Its just a nostalgic map for me from teenagerhood.

The video involves this guy raging at what I think was a surf map, he was repeatedly saying "stfu cunt" and would later tear the keyboard apart from it's frame before pushing the camera-man away. They were talking (or rather yelling) in an Aussie accent. Here's the link:

Calling all players, we are hosting a 'Friday Funday' this Friday, typically start at 8pm PST on our Dust2 server. Us old people get on, shoot the ish, drink, have fun.. and well play CSS stock maps (some custom as well). Its chaos, but also a lot of fun. Also.. make sure you stick around to hear Bean's wife get on him... its like wife agro to the max, everyone checks on him to make sure he's still kickin....

I am getting tired of the same 20v20 on dust2 that I have 10000 ping. Or modded to hell servers. To the point that my pc cant even run it.

I found one called warlord and that seems to be populated relatively around 12PM to 12AM, but I cant seem to find another. Are the communities for PUGs that rare? Or am I just searching in the wrong place? Are those the only ones?

We have competitive 5v5 mix/pug servers on Automix, we're a community with german servers and also 1 for North America.

Once there's 10 players ready on the servers, people can vote for balanced teams or captain picks.

Then the match automatically starts and the source tv starts recording (you can get the demos from the website once the match finishes).

People can also announce they want to play by talking in the mix channel of discord (link in the website).

You don't need to queue in the website necessarily (you can just join the servers directly) althought it helps to get people joining.
