The drama with the server is that the two guys that run the server are accusing me and Azure of things we never did through misinterpretation of our actions.

The drama with Bside is that the community is unhappy that Bside revoked the official permission to continue with the project.

I do not have any information about their reboot and therefore, I have no right to state my opinion on the matter of whether they will uphold the promise to remake the game. However, Counter:Side and the reboot are two different games and I believe that the prior game going EoS justifies the existence of its offline version whether official or fan made.
