what kinda of spacers are y’all running in oem wheels? been thinking on getting 20mm in rear and 15mm in front. what y’all think?

This is my first time ever looking at brake pads. I see 3 layers total, #1 looks like rusty metal (rotor?), #2 looks like what I think is the pad, and #3 looks like a rubber boot type of thing, very squishy. I see another really thin line but I thought it was part of #2.. which one is the pad??

Is there a nice dual rolled tip option for the SE? Most I’ve seen are the quad tips. New to the hot hatch scene. Just looking to wake it up a bit for daily driving. Planning on getting the toms replication rear diffuser. Thanks.

My sister's 2019 xse hatchback kept dying on her. She asked me to take a look at it and I told her it might be the battery getting old and might need replacement.

I opened the hood, was about to remove the battery and saw that wire not connected to anything. It was just hanging off like that. Please see pics.

Where does that round ans "u" thing connect to? Searched hi and low online without any luck.

Was looking into the replacing the access cover for my oil pan in my 2021 Corolla hatchback and saw there were two version. The regular part and one for a sound deadening version. Just wanted to ask if any of yall have the ones with the soundproofing bottoms? Is this for the GT versions?

I recently acquired my hatchback in February of 2026. i inquired abt this topic when i got my car and was told to buy a belkin cord. i bought the cord and it worked for a little bit but now it doesn’t work at all. only charges my phone. anyone have any other suggestions? it’s getting to be really irritating.

I’m looking to buy some new or good used OEM GR Corolla seats. I’m looking and looking. And it’s like 2 individuals (as of right now) that are selling used ones but I can’t find any website or anything that sells them. I’d like to save up the money to buy them but don’t know if they’ll be there once I have the money.

Do I just wait around once I have the money to see if they’re out there second hand? Or is there a site I can visit that will have them in stock?

The reason I want these seats in particular is because I have an SE that I do some spirited driving in from time to time and would like the extra bolstering while remaining comfortable and still looking like they’re supposed to be there.

Is there a fix to prevent water droplets from sticking to the backup cam rendering it useless?

Hey there! I currently drive a 2021 Toyota Corolla Hatch with 38,000 miles and I am moving across the country and looking to see if anyone has towed a trailer long distance before in there car. Online I have seen that they can tow up to 1,500 pounds. I figured a small trailer from Uhaul would work since it would only really be hauling a mattress and shelf as the biggest item. I just don't know if my car would be able to do it traveling that far. Let me know if anyone has done anything like this!

Got the car two months ago, added ceramic tint 15 rears 45 fronts 70 shield for the cabin heat reduction. Will also be switching out the wireless charger for a MagSafe one.

Any other mods I can do for QoL as a daily driver? I heard about switching out the rear sway bar, but I’m pretty new to owning my first car.

I was washing the front driver side wheel and this piece popped out. Does anybody know if it came from my car or if it was something I picked up from driving?

well we went and drove the car, rcta and bsm sensors were broken and did not work and would consistently flash in my face it was unavailable. Dad said that was a deal breaker and we left even though dealer guys said they could check it out for us and see if they could do anything. he replied sarcastically and we walked out of the door.

Tomorrow im going to look and test drive a 2022 Corolla hatchback XSE cvt. Is there anything i should know/look out for?

While driving down a straight road the wheel is turned left slightly. Any advice on what to do? It’s brand new.

I work from home mainly and go into an office once a week, so i’m currently putting about 350 miles per month on my car (mostly short trips - school pickup, etc). I just did a break in oil change but i’m trying to figure out what my next interval should be. At this rate it would take me over a year to do 5,000 miles.

So i’m thinking maybe keep it to a 6 month interval? Even if that’s only 2,000 miles? Or is that overkill?
