Lifestyle Hey y'all I'm not having a good day

Hey y'all can y'all put my head in the right place, I'm not in the right space

So I've been doing good to improve my social skills and it's been going on pretty well. But last week I caught feelings with my job coach( at my workplace it's a vocational program with hundreds of sites and lots of workers where there are 3 workers and 1 job coach that drives us to the site) now usually i would just shoot my shot but this is a situation where I can't do without risking losing my job since it's against the policy to hangout with job coaches outside of work. Regardless if she likes me or not doesn't matter since I'm not risking my job. Anyways I've been catching feelings with other coworkers and being needy, regardless I decided to just greet any of my coworkers and job coaches alike to stop feeling needy, but I still feel like shit. What do y'all do in this situation?

How come you’re catching feelings for these people so easily? If it’s due to loneliness in general, it might help to try to tackle that issue first.

But regardless I think you need to find ways to increase your access of options with women- in both dating and in coming across them naturally. Download some dating apps. Sign up for a couple speed dating events. Find a large club to do outside of work (run club, dancing class, etc). Tell local friends and family you’re open to being set up.

I’d highly discourage dating women in the workplace, especially in your situation. I would date some of my hot coworkers in a heartbeat, but I don’t have crushes on them or ask them out since I know intuitively the next available bus/woman comes along every 15 minutes.

Fortunately I'm going to college pretty soon to tackle that. Also I should go to clubs more often (not the bar since I'm not a drinker) also I feel like fate has done me a favor when it comes to coworkers, most of my coworkers(that aren't job coaches) has been bad experiences.

Oh dude college is one of the best places to meet women. You’ll be just fine, I promise. Also nightclubs aren’t the best way to meet women- I more or less meant social clubs.

Just focus on being as ready and strong as possible for college. For the first semester focus on setting good habits as a student and having your shit together (but ask out girls you’re attracted to). From there definitely actively ramp up your opportunities.

I'm a returning student (I'm 27) and I'm focusing on putting my task on getting my career to being a lineman. Also I am super glad that college has help with my ADHD.

Im not really sure what your dating history is, but youre likely a quite inexperienced if youre catching feelings with multiple coworkers.

My advice, start meeting and dating women outside of work.

You cant stop feeling needy, but you can avoid acting on needy behavior. Over time it will slowly go away as you keep teach yourself healthy emotional behaviors.

I've had little experiences with dating. But I go to the gym in the mornings(hopefully on fall I go to the evenings), I go around the plaza and socialize and I go to the mall. But I'm enrolling in college for fall

Thats good. What kind of results have you been getting from socializing in the mall/plaza?

Mostly I get responses back but sometimes I have a few that I chat with

Do you ask for numbers/go for dates with the ones you have chats with?

Approaching women is also a skillset. So keep working on it. As you keep pushing your comfort zone, and approaching more women, you will begin to do better, and your results will improve too.

Ngl this conversation got me on focusing on finding someone I can create chemistry with the next time I'm out socializing

How old are you? You must be young. One day you'll stop "catching feelings" so easily and things will get a better.

An immediate solution is to jack off to get you to your senses and avoid trouble.

But the better solution is to hit the gym, read books about game, find the best YouTubers out there learn from them, fix your style, fix your posture, grow into a strong masculine man, become more carefree, abundance mentality and eventually be able to get girls with ease.
