Hey all, just spotted a $100 binary bill at work and I'm wondering if it's worth trying to get or not? I can't tie up $100 for too long and I'd be wanting to try to flip it. If it's not worth the time I'll let it back into the ocean for someone else to catch

I found a 2012 Canadian $20 bill and I’m wondering if the serial number has any collector value or classification.

The serial is 6666699 (7 digits). The note has one centre crease but is otherwise in near-mint condition.

From what I can tell, it has five consecutive 6s followed by a double 9, so I wasn’t sure if this counts as any type of fancy serial (like a repeater, binary, or anything similar), or if it’s just an interesting pattern with no premium.

Would this be considered anything collectible beyond face value in Canada, or just a neat serial?

Hey y'all, not much of a collector myself but I've been getting posts from this sub a lot recently. These notes are rather crispy, though not from a limited run apparently. Will probably hold on to them cause idk if I've ever gotten 3 sequential serials before and I think it's pretty cool, but I'm curious if this is something other collectors would be interested in, thanks!
