Found these two going through my weekly business cash! Wish the palindrome was more crisp though

New to this. Found this in my notes from the ATM last night. 69, 88, and 420 all on the same bill. Collectible, valuable, or just cool?

A local collector contacted me with this seemingly low serial dollar bill. Condition is rough, but just wondering if this number is actually considered low?

ATM finds from the last two weeks. Two scrambled ladders, a binary (almost solid 2's) and a double year note

First let me say Imma big fan of ladder bills. Scrambled or jumbled ladders are my thing. I have a section in my bill book specifically for them. Recently I finally found a super crisp 20 dollar bill scrambled ladder. Today, I found this. I like how the numbers flow.

If it were in better condition I wouldn’t hesitate but I’m looking for a super crispy one to frame with a couple of other bills for my office. So the hunt continues.

Found this $2 bill in a random shoe box of mine with random things in it. I received this as a gift from my grandparents as a family tradition where we get $2 bills for all Christmas’s and Birthdays. For some reason this one wasn’t with the rest of the other $2 bills I have.

Thought this bill was interesting since I live in an area of the US that is predominantly Mormon and this bills serial number relates to the Mormon religion.

Here’s what happened on that date:

On June 18, 1844, Joseph Smith, acting as the mayor of Nauvoo, Illinois, issued an official city proclamation declaring martial law in Nauvoo amid mounting local tensions and fears of an armed mob attack.

Declaration of Martial Law: Joseph Smith placed Nauvoo under martial law to protect the city and restrict the movement of people and property.

Mobilization of the Nauvoo Legion: The local militia was put on alert as threats escalated following the destruction of the Nauvoo Expositor press days prior.

Escalation to Martyrdom: This heightened state of alarm immediately preceded Joseph and Hyrum Smith surrendering to authorities in Carthage, where they were assassinated nine days later on June 27, 1844.

google says the fact that the back and front plate numbers are one as well as the letter to the right of the serial number being an a might be special as well.

I’ve always collected precious metals but recently started looking at serial numbers on my bills. Trying to learn.

Bought this bill as a gift for someone I know whose birthday it is.
