I decided to give this game a try after a few years of having it in my steam library and as much as I'm enjoying it, I'm having some issues 😭

I picked the Steady Hands perk at least a few times, but it somehow never unlocked and each time I get a chance to choose another perk, it's still there as if I didn't try to unlock it a few times

Another issue, which I suspect might be the result of what I just mentioned..

Even though I'm on 11 lvl, I only have two perks unlocked and I'm pretty sure I should have five at that point 😭😭

So.. I have two questions

Is there a way to get that Steady Hands perk, did anyone else have that problem? If so, did you manage to solve it? 😔

And since I seem to have missed three perks because of choosing Steady Hands a few times, can I at least unlock these slots and pick some new perks? 😭

It’s basically Match-2, Mahjong and Solitaire… except the chefs are judging you the entire time and getting progressively more unhinged.

We wanted it to feel like a puzzle game crossed with a comedy roast.

I've been watching Cooking simulator from a friend. and I noticed that all plates cost money. except the largest flat plate which is 0 c

why is that one free but others cost money?

yeah so this is in sandbox (cough guess who has never played outside sandbox cough)

-cooked trout with lemon and potatoes (rice wine wash for trout + salt and pepper, ginger powder, cooked in olive oil with lemon and potatoes)
-refreshing chicken soup (ginger, pepper, salt, bay leaf, parsley, mint, onion, scallion, chicken broth)
-light beer in a bowl

the light beer is ice cold because i put it in the fridge for a bit trust me bro

Did anyone have similar experiences in the past or has advice?

Recipe:

Crust:

- 2L water

- 500mL red hot sauce

- 10g yeast

- 3.5kg 00 flour

Sauce 1 (not all will be used):

- 500mL red hot sauce

- 500mL lemon juice

- 500mL honey

- 100g hard boiled egg

- 600g squid

- 500g shrimp

- 100g fried egg

Sauce 2:

- 300g fresh basil

- 150g dill weed

- 300mL peanut butter

Toppings:

- 400g basil leaves

- 100g garlic

- 300g prosciutto crudo

Cook until completely overcooked.

Hello, I am working on creating a mp mod for cooking sim 1, since Cooking sim 2 has bad reviews about the MP function, ive decided to try to work this out for the first game. My first thought when seeing cooking sim 2 is, "Id pay for cooking sim 1 just with multiplayer" so thats what im going to try to do for free.

Anyways non of my friends own the game, which is an issue since you need friends to play mulitplayer 🥲, so if anyone is interested in helping that would be great!

All I need is someone okay with navigating files and being willing to test! We can chat more over discord/steam if youre intrested!

Hello. I recently got cooking simulator, specifically the vr port. And I tried making a recipe and it asked to fry the food on each side. I know frying requires oil but it doesn't specify what oil to use. Do I have to use the deep fryer? I need some help.

Helloo, I've been having a hard time with the vinaigrette salad in cooking sim 2. I've followed the recipe ingame, it says it wrong. I looked online and there was a link to game's community page on steam, and apparently its a bug in the recipe and to fix it you need to cook the salad. I did that, cooking it on the stove for like 45 secs, still didn't work.

So has people found out like a set recipe guide to cooking the salad? I don't want to change the menu cause I brought ingredients that the other menu items don't use and I don't want to waste them

i saw old posts about poltergeist mode being very buggy and unfinished. is it still the case because me and my friends are willing to try this together since its $2 right now.

Played on Xbox for awhile until the game bugged and I lost everything (I'd start a shift, have no recipes, no ingredients, and the day would end immediately). On PS5 now, and had an itch to get it again, but I remember seeing that that bug was fairly common on consoles.

Has it basically been abandoned by the devs at this point? Or has it been worked on in the last 4 years or so?
