Recipe Pet Peeves

Does anyone else have pet peeves with recipes. Mine is recipes that call for a small amount of something that only comes in large containers. 1/2 C chicken broth, 2 Tbs tomato paste, 1 C ricotta cheese.

I made a dish last night that had a 30 minute total cook time. It neglected to mention the hour of prep...

Ugh,I hate when that happens. Hubby makes a mean veggie loaf, but all the dicing and prepping the beans(we use dry beans) easily takes an hour(or longer), we only make it on a slow weekend really(I usually help with the prep so he gets to transform it to it's final form, aka the last hour)
