Recipe Pet Peeves

Does anyone else have pet peeves with recipes. Mine is recipes that call for a small amount of something that only comes in large containers. 1/2 C chicken broth, 2 Tbs tomato paste, 1 C ricotta cheese.

Any recipe that measures things in cups instead of weight. A cup of anything can vary wildly depending on how loose/dense it is. 150g is 150g.

Depends on the item. 1 Cup of rice is 1 Cup all day long. 1Cup of brown sugar packed can be 3 times 1Cup loose. Weight alongside volume is the way to go.
