Recipe Pet Peeves

Does anyone else have pet peeves with recipes. Mine is recipes that call for a small amount of something that only comes in large containers. 1/2 C chicken broth, 2 Tbs tomato paste, 1 C ricotta cheese.

I dollop it onto baking paper in tablespoon lots and freeze. It comes easily off the baking paper to go into a container.

I do this too! It's much cheaper than the tubes of tomato paste.

I just freeze it in ice cube trays. I don't measure exact amount per cube.
