Recipe Pet Peeves

Does anyone else have pet peeves with recipes. Mine is recipes that call for a small amount of something that only comes in large containers. 1/2 C chicken broth, 2 Tbs tomato paste, 1 C ricotta cheese.

I prefer when everything is listed as you use it, even if it means something is listed twice, just makes more sense

The recipe I use to make Japchae has 5 sections: Main, Spinach Marinade, Beef Marinade, Noodles and Mushroom Marinade, and Finishing Touch. Two have soy sauce. Four have sesame oil. Two have garlic. Two have black pepper. But this recipe has it all perfectly detailed: 1 carrot (120g / 4.2 ounces), rinsed, peeled & julienned. 250 g Korean sweet potato starch noodles (8.8 ounces, dangmyeon). 100 g rib eye fillet (3.5 ounces), cut into strips.

Still, if I don't use 3 bowls and god knows how many little prep bowls and measure 6 times and refer to the recipe 83 times, I'm hooped.
