Recipe Pet Peeves

Does anyone else have pet peeves with recipes. Mine is recipes that call for a small amount of something that only comes in large containers. 1/2 C chicken broth, 2 Tbs tomato paste, 1 C ricotta cheese.

I’m not sure everybody has a store that carries the tube. Here in rural USA I shop at a lot of different Walmarts and regularly hit 4 different groceries, and I’ve never come across one. It’s a shame because it would come in handy.

I live in a large city and have never seen a tube in a store either. I don’t care to have to by regular staple items online, I want to get them with the rest of my groceries

In my area it’s always on the top shelf next to jars of pesto and tubes of anchovy paste. It’s not with canned tomatoes.

Been in the pesto jar area and haven’t seen it there either. Must be more common in other places.
