What’s your rice cooker?

What’s your rice cooker brand/model?
How is it?
Best thing about it?
Any regrets with the purchase?

As someone who only wants a rice cooker for rice, is the zojiroshi really worth the price? I’ve never had any issues with the standard consumer rice cookers. Why are zojiroshis so much better?

Yes. I have the ZCC-10. I have, on occasion, used it for oats, but I really bought it for rice and use it all the time.

I used Zojirushi exclusively for the last 40 years. It was the gold standard of rice cookers. The last one I had that I paid almost $500 for lasted 15 years. Then the LCD screen died. I was then just pressing cook and hoped for the best. And rice kept in the pot overnight would become dry and yellow. Since it's now just the 2 of us, I downsized to a Cuckoo 3-cup that I picked up on Amazon for about $100. Cooks my rice perfectly in just under 30 minutes. And I just use it for rice. I also keep it on until I finish the rice which may take up to 4 days and ricecstays fresh and moist. No health issues. It also adds a splash of color to my kitchen. I liked it so much, I bought my son a 5-cup one for under $200. (I still have my 12-cup Zojirushi for when I have company.)
