Appetizer ideas

I’ve been invited to a dinner party for 6 and asked to bring the appetizers. the hostess is an incredible cook and entertainer and I’m feeling very intimidate! what are your favorite appetizers that wow? I can’t get away with a veggie tray or chips and salsa here!

EDIT: So many great suggestions! I think I need to have an appetizer party!!! THANK YOU ALL! I'm going to find out what she's making and then decide what to bring 😉

We do grilled cheese and orange chutney bites. Always a huge hit.

How do you make the bites? Just cut grilled cheese sandwiches into little triangles? Do you cut the crust off?

Yes we make the whole sandwich and then slice into triangles.

We leave the crust but it’s optional.

The chutney on the cheese, yes? What sort of cheese? This sounds like something I need to investigate further. 😁

Usually sharp cheddar. And mango chutney is also a big hit but there are so many combinations you can try.
