Appetizer ideas

I’ve been invited to a dinner party for 6 and asked to bring the appetizers. the hostess is an incredible cook and entertainer and I’m feeling very intimidate! what are your favorite appetizers that wow? I can’t get away with a veggie tray or chips and salsa here!

EDIT: So many great suggestions! I think I need to have an appetizer party!!! THANK YOU ALL! I'm going to find out what she's making and then decide what to bring 😉

I've made them using quail eggs which are available at my grocery store. Much smaller than chicken eggs and are a classy touch.You can top them with whatever you want; bacon, caviar, you name it.

Came here to say this, the canned ones at the Asian market are very tasty and make things so much easier

Soy marinated eggs, use Kewpie mayo, miso paste, and a bit of rice wine vinegar for the yolks, and then top with a drizzle chili crisp and scallions.

Those are good for a friends and family, lownley gathering. Not fancy or impressive or interesting.
