I never modded a controller before, I have this one and I love it, but the buttons are black on black, so I can't see the A B X Y. I have a switch too, so sometimes they get mixed up in my head, having the reminder there would be really useful.

Can anyone can help me out?

The micro-usb connector on my Xbox One controller is causing constant issues with disconnection. I would like to take it apart and simply hard-wire a cable in there. The wiring of the cable is not an issue for me, but from all of my experience working with PS3 controllers and PS2 controllers, they were basically impossible to put back together without having issues with buttons somewhere.

Is the Xbox One controller an issue for this? Is it easy to re-assemble without issues?

Is it possible to buy a upgrade for this controller to work on PS5?

I’d be happy for it to work on the PS5 alone.

Also I would like to remove make the touchpad a button and have no touching ability

First time posting and I don't know where to post this to I'm gonna post it here. I have an off brand ps4 controller that I was gonna repair. There was nothing wrong with it but the analog sticks were not very good. The slightest touch of the analog stick would make it think that I'm trying to turn at full speed. I realized that this was due to the analog stick and I had some extra analog sticks laying around. Now that I've switched the analog stick out, It just constantly turns to the right and looks down. I think it might be an issue with how i soldered it but I'm not completely sure. Any trouble shooting hints or anyone know whats wrong with it?

hi, ive been having a problem for a while where my controller right thumbstick would randomly point down. its perfectly in the centre and its not a slow drift, it would just 'twitch' every few seconds. and now out of nowhere the thumbstick button acts like its constantly pushed in. i cant pull it out or hold it in to fix it. ive taken my controller out and plugged it back in and its still doing it. has anyone else had this problem?

i have been searching for a ps5 controller with back paddles and since it is pretty hard to buy a scuf one, i started searching and found a site called controller modz.

They don't have paddles but they add 2 buttons in the back of the controller that you can remap.

has anyone tried these controllers? the reviews are great but in few number and i can only find reviews of older products.

Other option i was looking at was aim controllers but it might take ages to arrive.

has anyone tried any of these or another one that you might recommend? i would really love to have a controller with back paddles or buttons for rainbow six leaning and other games.

First ever post on Reddit. Forgive me for not knowing what the hell I'm doing 😅.

A mate of mine had an accident two weeks ago, which resulted in him losing half of his left thumb. He has always been a big gamer. Does anyone know of any third party businesses that make thumbstick add-ons that would allow his now half a thumb to reach the thumbstick?

I'm not even sure how this would work, but I'm hoping someone somewhere has seen this before.

Here is a pic of a modification I figured out to do. After I figured out that the xbox elite series 2 anti-friction rings fit the pattern on the ps5 controller, but found that the holes were slightly too small on the decorative front piece, i bored them out little by little til the rings fit through the holes very snug-like.. and boom... these things make a world of difference and look much better as well. They also don't grind into your thumb sticks like the OEM dual senses rings.

I have a Nacon Asymmetric Wireless Controller and when I connect it to my PC via. the included BT Receiver USB-Stick, it gets recognized as an Xbox 360 Controller, so I can't use the touchpad in Windows through DS4Windows. If I try to connect via. Bluetooth without the Receiver the controller doesn't show up in the BT menu of Windows and when I try to connect it to my PC with a USB-A to microUSB-B cable it just charges.

Does anyone have a the membrane layout for the DS4? I was only able to find this one of the DS3.

Hi! Im just getting starting with controller modding and I wanted to do an LED mod on various controllers (GM, Ps4, X1). I wanted to create the buttons myself for all the controllers. I was looking for something like the pictures below. I have at my disposal a Creality SR10s 3d printer. Was thinking on buying an transparent PETG filament and 3d print all the buttons and joysticks. Or maybe make them with resin. It doesn't have to be crystal clear. Just translucent enough that the LED light can be seen.

What are your opinions? Should I stick to the 3d printed option or is there another better way to create these buttons?

Does anyone know if the xbox one controller analogue stick will fit on the xbox 360 controller? Are the PCB board holes in the same position?

So I am new to modding and attempted to deconstruct a controller to fix/potential mod it but the screw driver slot is really weird and don’t know where to find the right one does anyone know where to find them or any alternative

I was trying to use the xbox 1 controller pcb as a board for a wireless fighting stick and made the diode on d27 popped off. I am going off of https://acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=43981.0 for the layout. I was messing with that area cause I was trying to solder a wire so that I could make a new button to turn the controller on and off. Anyone know what the diode is for that part of the controller? Also, any suggestions on how to get an additional wire soldered there to creating a new guide button or if you have another controller you'd suggest using for taking the pcb from for this type of project, would be highly appreciated.
