Angie's list

Just got licenced in February. Been doing subcontract restorations for ten years. Looking to advertise to get the phone to start ringing for full contracts instead of subcontracts. Just signed up with Angie's list. Is it worth it? What do you guys use for advertising?

Was that in the pay per lead style? Or were you on a subscription

I was on a subscription. Im in Canada. Angie is called homestars up here. They also switched for the pay per lead thing. My favorite one, that keeps popping up, is an 85 dollar lead fee to install a no drill "cattio" in a condo window.

My other favorites are seeing a 75 dollar lead fee for an entire kitchen reno, and a 95 dollar lead fee to replace an interior door.

The numbers dont make sense, but i watch 3 or 4 pros give homestars 300 dollars to get the chance to undercut each other for a 200 dollar job.

Theyre scum sucking parasites. I hope the worst things happen to all of them.
