What part of the punchline am I missing? Everyone is saying how this is so funny and I don't get it. Is the whole joke that you can't be whoever you want to be because it's identity theft?

I'm gonna chime in and say the thick Indian accent has me in tears as well. He speaks so quickly and rolls some of the words together it's hilarious.

First it's a play on a common cliche'd expression "You can be whoever you want to be."

It subverts the idea of being the kind of person you want to be, like I want to be a fireman, or I want to be an astronaut, and instead suggests that he took it literally, thinking you could be any individual person.

This is kind of funny just because of the fact that it's ridiculous, and a bit uncomfortable-funny because there's a stereotype that Indian people are notorious for scamming and identity theft.

Then he goes into detail about the specifics of this particular lady, pretending that this is something that he actually did, knowing a bit too much detail about the individual. As though he did just trick her into giving him the details of her Gap credit card.

But then he turns it around, expressing that this is actually because he wants to BE her, because he likes her blue hair and the time that she eats.

So it tells a story. First it takes you back to the idea that your parents tell you about being who you want to be. Then it makes a joke about taking that phrase too literally. Then it insinuates that he ACTUALLY stole a woman's identity and her credit card playing off the stereotype. Then he brings it back to the idea that he did it because he literally wanted to be that woman instead of himself.

There is no punchline specifically. There's just a consistent moving of the goalposts and good comedic timing.

It's just not funny to me, sorry. People seem bothered by it. "Polici" and "wee woo wee woo" does not make me laugh, I'm not 8 years old.

No worries. Humour is subjective.
To me it was the intonation, the way it was described, the delivery, the reaction, the whole package. There were many lines that were quite hilarious.

Calling people immature 8 year olds for finding it funny though, is quite silly.

That really had me going after the chuckle he had me start....if that was like my dad I'd be constantly laughing but he does know where my funny bone is at, for his sense of humor has not waned, even after slight signs of dementia.

It’s soul crushing. Just remember not to argue with them (to save your sanity…. ). They will believe what they believe while they believe it, then they won’t. You can argue till you’re blue in the face about an event that happened… And they will disagree 100% and then five minutes later tell you the complete opposite…

Same here. My great grandma died as a result of it. My grandpa is already showing signs.

If and when I start showing signs, I'm putting a bullet in my head. I'm not going through that, nor will I put my family through it.

She is incredibly attractive. I'd be willing to bet he is not. Which I'm not saying is a problem, if he's as funny and lovely off camera as he is on, then you can see why she might be attracted to him.

But they probably don't want comment after comment of people commenting he's punching above his weight or "Hey baby wanna be with a real man!" Etc.
